Congratulations to our Flag Football Team!
Our Lions made school history by winning their first-ever playoff game against Ponderosa High School last week — and they did it while battling some crazy wind! Their playoff journey wrapped up on Saturday with a tough loss to Mountain View, but we’re so proud of their hard work, dedication, and incredible season! Go Lions!

Our mountain bike team crushed their state finals this weekend in Glenwood Springs this weekend. The team placed 6th in the state, with freshman Esme Ahles placing 4th in the freshman girls race. A huge honor, our team was given The All Star Award. This award is given to a team in the Colorado league for demonstrating exceptional teamwork, sportsmanship, community involvement, parental involvement, volunteer percentage, team spirit, and success in moving up between divisions. Great job riders.

The Boys Cross Country team had an outstanding day at the Jeffco League Championships, capturing League titles in both the Varsity and JV divisions! In Varsity, Axel Fontaine, Hank Chojnacki, Tyler West, Jonas Fontaine, Rowan Ingraham, Henry Hoffman, and Louge Stewart earned All-Conference honors, leading the Lions to a dominant team win. In the JV race, Zander Davis took home the individual victory with a commanding win. Shepard Morgan, Max Neale, Micah Hosie, Noah Scott, Quinn Morgan, and Levi Flanagan rounded out the scoring team to secure another championship for the boys' squad. It was a complete effort from top to bottom—congratulations to the boys for meeting every goal they set for themselves this season!

The Girls Cross Country team turned in a tremendous performance at the Jeffco League Championships, finishing third in Varsity and winning the JV team title! Despite missing two top runners, the Varsity squad delivered a strong team effort, led by All-Conference honorees Sophia Bailey, Alex Herrera, Lucia Bovo, Ainsley Baker, and Stella Begly. Sarah Nazarenus and Klara Fortna ran tough to protect the outstanding team score. In the JV race, Emma Roskelley led the way for the Lions, with Mo Pannier, Ella Chase, Audrey Faiks, Valen Orrick, Olive Ascani, and Maddy Nolting rounding out the scoring team. Both squads achieved the goals they set over the summer through consistent work, teamwork, and focus. Congratulations to all the runners on a fantastic League meet!
