The Varsity and JV girls tennis teams opened their season with 4-3 and 9-3 wins over Rock Canyon on Thursday. Leading the Lions in their victory were Katie Pearson, Nicole Anderson, Jamie Wollum, Katie Gaeth, Terrell Blei, Courtney Honigsberg, and Carly Blum.

The Varsity Baseball team defeated Alameda yesterday by the score of 10 to 0 in 5 innings of play. The team was led by the pitching of Kevin Holland with a 1 hitter and 6 strikeouts and homeruns by Dane Donegan, Noah Gaumer, Kevin Farley, Kyle McCaslin and Marcus Parry Join us today as the 3 - 0 Lions take on Palmer Ridge at LHS Field - 4:30 start.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:
Congratulations to C-Team Baseball on a 20-7 win over Lincoln High School.
The Lions scored in each inning, and were led by Dylan Bates on the mound, who notched the win. The Lions C-Team will be back in action on March 29th when they take on Legend HS.

The Varsity girl’s soccer team is off to an undefeated flying start with 3 wins and a draw in their first 4 games. Goal scorers so far for the Lions are Lindsey Payson, Bret Mann, Kara Timken, Rachel Ericson, Emily Donohoue, Kaylee Witt, Jen Speck with two and Erin Claxton with two. League play opens tonight at Burt.com stadium against Chaparral. Congratulations ladies and good luck!!

Congratulations to the Boys Swim and Diving Team for winning both the Varsity and JV meets against Douglas County, including a state qualifying time in the Medley Relay and the 400 free relay and Brodie Pugh in diving! Way to go fellows!

Speech and debate competed at the state tournament this weekend. Toby Jacob and Tres Pittman are the state runner-ups in cx debate. Cassie Reid placed 9th in poetry. Abrielle Crawford placed 4th in Lincoln Douglas debate, Amy Le placed 3rd in Lincoln Douglas debate, and Abby Benkert is the runner-up in Lincoln Douglas debate. Congratulations!!
