Student Recognition & Congratulations: 

Congratulations to the Freshman and the Varsity volleyball teams who beat Standley Lake in their last regular season volleyball match. The Varsity team begins their post season play in Golden tomorrow in tournament play! Congratulations and good luck ladies!

Congratulation Varsity Boys soccer for winning the 1st round of State playoffs over Mesa Ridge 5-0! We will host Durango on Tuesday for the 2nd round game at 5pm in the stadium.  A reminder because this is a playoff game, no passes will be accepted.  Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for general admission.  GO LIONS!

Don’t forget to sign up for THE STRIDE happening Sunday, October 26.  Littleton High School has received $1,000 three years in a row for the most high school participants.  Let’s continue the winning streak.  Everyone is invited to participate!! Register online or come to the main office.  See you on Sunday!

Halloween O Grams are on sale now!  Find a student council member to buy your Halloween O Gram today. They are only $1 which includes a message and candy. All the profits go to the Musana School that LHS supports in Uganda, Africa.

Sports Announcements:

Open gym for Girls basketball continues this Monday night from 6:30-8:30 in the North gym.  Come and get ready for the season which is just around the corner!  Preseason Camp begins on Wednesday, November 5th from 5:00-7:00 and tryouts start up on November 12th.  It is an exciting time for the LHS Girls Basketball Program and we hope to see you there!

Attention all Boys lacrosse players: if you are interested in playing lacrosse in the spring, you have a very important meeting for you and your parents on Wednesday, October 29th in the Forum at 6 pm. See you there!

Club Announcements:

Speech and Debate team members have a team meeting TODAY after school in the Speech Room.

Inspirlions staff, our next meeting will be next Wednesday, October 29, in room 112. Bring your own work and ideas for our next issue.

Academic Announcements: 

Attention Freshman, Sophomore, & Juniors – the swim test sign-up sheet is in the Counseling office. Swim test dates are Wednesday, November 5th and Thursday, November 6th.  The classes are limited to the first 30 students per session.

Attention Seniors - a swim waiver test date is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11th right after school. Seniors must sign up in the Counseling office.

A representative from Fort Lewis College will be here to meet with juniors and seniors on Monday at 1 o'clock in the Counseling Office.

Other Announcements:

Students, have you noticed the veterans who carry the flags out on the 50-yard line for the National Anthem at home football games?  They are members of the American Legion, and each year, this organization sponsors an oratory contest. Winners from each state event go to nationals, where the first prize winner last year won an $18,000 scholarship.  If you are interested in participating in this contest, please go to their website, www.legion.org/oratorical.  The Colorado competition will be held this January, right here in Littleton, at Arapahoe Community College.

Attention all Technology Student Association members - we will meet on Oct. 30th since we don't have school on the 3rd Thursday this month.  Oct. 30th is the last day to sign up for events before runoffs are determined for Nov. 6th.  If you haven't paid your dues, please do so ASAP and get signed up for your events.

Kick off Halloween Week with a trip to the Mausoleum Haunted House, just south of Belleview and Broadway. Bring your Littleton ID and the Mausoleum will make a donation to After Prom for everyone in your group! Free $3 discount tickets are available at Wendy’s. We are excited to offer Computer Science II starting in January.  The course will by taught by Ms. Montoya and is open to any student who has completed the Intro course. Student Recognition & Congratulations: 

Congratulations to the Girls volleyball program who swept the visiting Wheat Ridge farmers last night at home! All four teams: Freshman, Sophomore, JV, and Varsity teams won all games for the night! The Varsity team won 25-9, 25-17, and 25-14. Sr, Savannah Kirby and Jr, Mikalen Cox rallied for 9 kills apiece. The teams finish up their regular season match tomorrow night at Standley Lake High School. Congratulations and good luck ladies!

Great job Ice Cream Dream Team on beating Jeff-co Open School 12 - 4. Both of your Lion Ultimate teams will play on Saturday at Heritage between 10 and 2:30.

Congratulations to the JV soccer team on their 4 to 0 win over Standley Lake yesterday. Juan Chavira and Manny Cooke each had a goal and an assist in the victory. The JV team went undefeated in league play to capture their second league title in a row. Way to go JV soccer!

It is organized by the Littleton Foundation to raise money for our schools, and financial awards are given to the schools that have the most participants. Last year LHS beat out Heritage and Arapahoe and we received one thousand dollars for our school. We want to win again this year and we need your help. Boys Soccer qualified for State!  We will host Mesa Ridge on Wednesday at 7pm here at the Stadium.  Because this is a playoff game, no passes will be accepted.  Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for general admission.   Go luck and GO LIONS!

Today is an ODD Period Day – Periods 1.3.5.7.

Student Recognition & Congratulations: 

Congratulations to Addi Iken, Colin Cannon, and Tommy Kail, who will represent Littleton at the State cross country meet this Saturday after qualifying at Regionals on Thursday!  Colin finished 9th and Tommy was 11th as the boys came oh so close to qualifying for State as a team, missing out by one place.  Also scoring for the Lions were Bruce Barnstable, Tyler Fuller, and Ethan Ogden.  Addi led the LHS girls in 11th-place, as the girls finished 7th.  Magda van Leeuwen was 22nd, followed by Clemence Auzias, Claudia Kramer, and Madeline Espinoza.

Your Lion Ultimate team defeated Arapahoe at home last Wednesday 12-7. We will be playing at Heritage on Saturday, and have three home games next week, so come out and support your team!
