Cheer Tryouts are Friday from 4:30-6PM and Saturday 11AM-4PM in the South Gym. A physical is required. If you are in a fall sport, but would like to cheer in the Winter, please contact Coach Atkins.

Since starting this program at Littleton High School we have helped over two hundred students receive a free home computer. Congratulation Boys Tennis on a great start to their season with a 7-0 victory over Ralston Valley on Tuesday. Great work!

The JV boys soccer team scored early and often in a 7 to 0 victory over Dakota Ridge. Brandon Tellez scored a hat trick in the first 15 minutes to lead all scorers.

Varsity Boys Soccer game vs Dakota Ridge has been rescheduled for TONIGHT at 6:00pm in the Littleton Public School Stadium.
Celebration BBQ and Concert - TONIGHT the Performing Arts Department will kick-off the 2016-17 season with a BBQ from 5-6:30 p.m., an outdoor performance by the Marching Band & Colorguard at 6:40 p.m. and a concert at 7 p.m. Tickets for the BBQ are available from Mr. Farrell.

Special Events:
Celebration BBQ and Concert - On Wednesday the Performing Arts Department will kick-off the 2016-17 season with a BBQ from 5-6:30 p.m., an outdoor performance by the Marching Band & Colorguard at 6:40 p.m. and a concert at 7 p.m. Tickets for the BBQ are available from Mr. Farrell.

Tomorrow is a LATE START Even Period Seminar Wednesday - all students should go to their Seminar for attendance, Seniors and Freshman will then go to the respective class meetings.
We have begun issuing parking tickets to students who do not have a parking pass. Please see the bookkeeper if you need to purchase a parking permit.
LHS cell phone and dress code policies will be enforced and can be referenced in the student planner.

Lockheed Martin Tutors will be here Wednesday and Thursday evening for students who need help in Math and Science. This is a free service to LHS students provided by Lockheed Martin Engineers. Tutoring will be available every Wednesday and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 1740. Students, please use the Forum entrance.
Great opportunity for college-bound Juniors and Seniors! There will be a "Colleges That Change Lives" College Fair at the Denver Convention Center TONIGHT at 7:00 pm. It is free, and no pre-registration is required. Go to ctcl.org/denver for more information.

Attention Seniors: Please remember that if you are submitting a senior photo from an outside photographer, the deadline is this Friday, September 2nd. If we do not have a photo from you by Friday, we will schedule a time for you to take your photo with the school photographer on September 15 or 16. We want every senior to have a picture in the yearbook so we offer this to you free of charge.

"Life After Littleton Night" will take place on Wednesday, September 28th, 6:00 - 8:00 pm here at school. We will have many informative breakout sessions including "Financial Aid 101," "Trade and Tech Careers and Education," "The Parent's Role," "College Entrance Exams," "Building Your College List," "Earning College Credit in High School," and "Community College Certificate Programs.". Don't miss the introductory session which begins right at 6:00 pm...you'll find it helpful and stress relieving!
Back by popular demand! Mr. Stedron will once again offer his College Essay Workshops during both lunch periods on Tuesday,. Oct. 4th in The Forum. Seniors who need to write a personal statement or essay for at least one of your college applications will not want to miss this. Mr. Stedron provides straightforward direction for attacking this often difficult, intimidating piece of writing. See you there!

Student Recognition and Congratulations:
Congratulations to your "Lion Pride" Marching Band for their performance at the Colorado State Fair Parade competition this past Saturday. The "Lion Pride" Band placed 2nd in the 4A Division and 3rd Overall among 18 competing bands on Saturday. Go Band!!
The Littleton/Heritage Varsity Softball team won its home opener 10-7 Friday in a non-conference game against the Rampart Rams. MaryAnn Quintana pitched for the win and went 3 for 4 at the plate. Jaiden Kleiner hit 2 doubles. Next game is Tuesday against rival Arapahoe at 7pm at Bowles Grove Park. plan to come out and cheer them on.

It is VERY important we get a list of all the potential candidates for office. We also invite any student to come to our meeting and become an Ambassador. This does not require as much of a time commitment as an officer, but we love having lots of Ambassadors! See you there!
All girls and guys are welcome to join Ultimate Frisbee Club...the club that is also a sport! Our first practice is TODAY on the grass practice fields at 2:30. We’ll play ‘til 4:30 and practice on Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well. Ultimate Frisbee is a no-cut sport and games start in September! Come out to meet new friends, get fit and have FUN!!

Join Future Business Leaders of America to learn about business, compete at leadership conferences all around Colorado, make new friends, and have a great time. Instructors come from a wide variety of engineering fields, from corporations, government and institutions. The workshops are super informative and FUN!
