Students, our School Accountability Committee is looking for two at-large student members! The committee meets once a month after school. This opportunity would be an incredible way to make a difference here at LHS! Please go to our school's website, find the School Accountability Committee page, and download an application. Applications are due next Friday, August 31st!

A reminder to students that picture day is today during your Language Arts class. Extra forms are available in front of the Student Services office.

Chromebooks are available for pick up in the library before school, during lunch, during an off hour or after school. You must have your signed permission slip with you.

The JV soccer team defeated Dakota Ridge 6 to 1 yesterday. Max Klein had two goals in the win.

Come cheer on your Lion’s volleyball players as they host cross-town rival Heritage in the "Volley 4 Vets" game on Wednesday, August 29 at 6:00pm.

Is using technology and big machines your kind of volunteer work? Are you interested in a set volunteer time? Are you willing to do something awesome that will greatly help out the teaching staff? This year volunteers are needed to help out in the copy room. Sign-ups will be weekly or bi-weekly. Shifts will be one to two hours in the mornings with the time slots yet to be determined. We are looking for a team of at least 10 volunteers.

If you drove here today and parked in the LHS parking lots, please make sure you have a parking permit. You can purchase them at the bookkeeper's window for $50. Campus supervisors will be in the lots this week to check for tags and issue warnings.

Students who biked to school, there are several bike racks along the tennis courts. Please park your bikes there and make sure they are secured. You can enter the building through the athletic entrance, which is open from 8:00-8:30.

If you have not already completed your online permission to receive a Chromebook this year, you can pick up a parent permission form from the Counseling Office or the Library.  These need to be completed and returned before tomorrow, Wednesday, August 22nd so that you can receive your school year Chromebook during seminar check out.
