CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to Senior Molly Gosling. This past weekend, Molly participated in the Optimist Club of Littleton annual Oratorical Contest. This contest has been held annually since 1928. Molly's speech, entitled "Healing the World with Optimism" won third place and a cash prize. Nice job, Molly!

Congratulations to the following girls for qualifying for the 4A State Swim & Dive Championships this Friday:
Grace Amine, Caley Brungardt, Shannon Connor, Ashlyn Farnham, Gwen FitzSimmons, Caitlyn Flaugh, Riley Griffin, Scout Hawkins, Delia Leonard, Gabi Leonard, Kate Loving, Scarlett Montoya, and Courtney Urbanek.

On Friday and Saturday, February 19/20, the LHS Mock Trial team competed in the Virtual Regional Tournament. They competed against teams from Kent Denver, St Marys, Regis, Eaglecrest, and Smoky Hill high schools. Harvey Rainwater and Noah Orcutt each won a "Best Witness" award.

Congratulations to the girl's basketball team on a great season. The team begins the playoffs tonight against Canon City at 6:00 pm with a trip to the sweet 16 on the line. Please wish the team good luck as they begin the playoffs and catch the stream on the NFHS network.
