Representatives from the Career Exploration Center will be in the LHS cafeteria on Monday, January 31st, during student lunches. This is an excellent opportunity for freshmen and sophomores to talk with them about enrolling in career-focused classes.

Athletic Registration for Spring Sports is now open. Go to the Athletic website to register at littletonlions.net. Boys Swim will start on Monday, February 21, and the rest of the Spring Sports will start on Monday, February 28. Students must be registered and cleared in order to participate.

If you haven't already started cleaning out your closets for the New Year, now is the time to start! Student Council is partnering with Urban Peak, a homeless shelter for teens in Denver, for a coat drive. This is our final week for collections, as it ends on January 31st. Please bring in any coats, beanie hats, blankets, or warm items and place them in the box by attendance.

CONGRATULATIONS:
Congrats to our girl's basketball program for their sweep over Standley Lake last night. Our Varsity Lions beat the Gators 54-26 in a dominating team effort. Sophomore Daysha Sagrillo-Smiley led the Lions with 12 points, with sophomore Jacy Chandler adding 11 points and Marley Hernandez-Priest and Dalana Jakovljevic adding 10 each. The Lions improved to 10-4 on the season. Great job, ladies!

Congratulations to our Unified Lions Basketball team for their 96-90 win over Columbine. Outstanding performance by every member of the team. Come cheer us to victory Monday, Jan 31 @ 5:00 against Chatfield.

CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to the LHS Mock Trial Teams for competing in the Boulder Battle on Saturday and Sunday. A special congrats to Isabella Boreggo for earning the 3rd place Lawyer award.

Congratulations to the Littleton Wrestling team, placing 5th on Saturday at the Arvada High School Invitational. The Lions had 6 placing wrestlers. Elias Garcia and Aron Leon placed 3rd. Damien Rose placed 4th. Kai Saito and James Horton placed 2nd, and Issak Hosford placed 1st. They host Standley Lake on Thursday and head to Westminster on Saturday this week.

Congratulations to our unified lions for their 78-74 victory over the Englewood tiger. Join us Wednesday when they take on Columbine at 4:30 in our home gym!

On Saturday, our speech and debate team competed virtually at the first-ever Falcon Fiesta through Highlands Ranch High School. Earning top honors were Virginia Frau, who placed 5th in Humor; Bella Houck, who placed 3rd in Drama; and Senior Eliana Joy Volin, who placed 3rd in Poetry. Excellent work!

ACADEMICS:
The Post Grad Office is hosting a variety of visits this week. A representative from San Diego State University will be in the Post Grad Office today at 2:00 p.m. Tomorrow, a representative from Metropolitan State University will be visiting at 9:00 a.m., and the Marines will be in the cafeteria at lunch. On Thursday, a representative from Verto, a freshman year study abroad program, will be in the Post Grad Office at noon.

Reminder-There will be a season preview meeting for the Boy's Swim & Dive Team tomorrow, January 25th in the Forum from 6-7:30 PM. If you are planning on joining the team, please come to this meeting. You will get to meet your coaches and order apparel for the season. Go Lions!
