The Team has put in tons of work and has placed themselves as the favorite going into the League Championship. 8th grade’s NJHS has organized a supply drive for our LHS teachers. They are asking for paper, pencils, coloring supplies, binders, dividers, and pens. If you donate these items, please make sure they are in good condition. The drive will be held from May 2nd through May 12th, and donations will be collected in a box at the attendance office.

Congratulations to the JV Girls on their 1-0 win against Bear Creek. Sofia Miller-Calvo scored the lone goal on a breakaway 1v1. Come support both JV and Varsity at tonight's last home game and Senior Night. Go Lions!


Huge Congratulations to your Cast, Crew, and Directors of the recent Musical production of "Into the Woods" here at LHS. The show received 4 nominations for the Bobby G Awards, which recognize outstanding achievements in high school musical theater. LHS was one of 50 schools in Colorado receiving adjudicated feedback for our performances. Only 5 schools receive a nomination in each of eleven categories. LHS was nominated for:
Best Overall Production
Best Director
Best Pit Orchestra
Best Lighting Design
The Oscar-style Awards Ceremony and announcement of overall winners will take place at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday evening, May 26th. Congratulations to every student and director who helped create such a high-quality show this year!"

The LPS Boys Volleyball team lost to Discovery Canyon on Saturday to end their season. Congratulations to the team who, in the inaugural season, had a winning record (varisty, JV, and C Team) and the varsity team made it to the playoffs!

Prom & After Prom Shout-out!!
What great events!! Our Prom and After Prom were amazing, and we have some folks to thank for that. To our Student Council sponsors and students -- Nice Job! The venue for Prom was fantastic and the vibe was so fun! To our PTO and awesome parent volunteers -- Thank you!! You worked so hard together to transform our school into an Around the World experience. And it worked. The turnout was fantastic, and again the vibe was so so fun!
And we want to thank all of the students who attended! You chose to make this a fun, entertaining and memorable night!
