Girls Flag Football swept Bear Creek with dominant wins by both JV and Varsity last night! The defense was on total lock-down across both games with two deflections from Maddie Kusner and awesome QB sacks from Char Dulaney and Yara Soto. Sophia Childs, Hazel Neubaker, Megan Lea-Shaddox, and Elise Analoveitch all snagged interceptions. On offense, quarterback Evelyn Preisinger made great connections with the JV team and Halle Patterson threw spot on passes to Campbell Osher and Olivia May for touchdowns! Huge congratulations to all our players on a total team victory over Bear Creek! Go Lions!
Way to go, Boys Cross Country! The boys team raced to a fourth-place finish at the Arvada West Durden Invite last Friday with Top 20 performances from Tyler West and Jonas Fontaine. Christian Chang-Nunley notched a season PR for the second race in a row while Zander Davis, James Gioia and Max Loving each got season-best times. Next up – the Columbine Dave Sanders Invitational on Friday.
Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country team on their fourth-place finish at the A-West Durden Invitational! The girls, led by Sophie Bailey, Lucia Bovo, Anais Briotet and Gillian Glover, ended up as the top Jeffco team, besting several 5A schools. In addition to Sophie placing in the Top 20, Ella Chase came away with yet another season best time. Looking forward to racing the Dave Sanders Invite at Clement Park later this week!

College rep visits continue today in the library with Northern Michigan University at 8:30 am and Washington State University at 11 am. Sign up for visits in SCOIR and grab a pass from Post Grad ahead of time if you need to be excused from class.

Boys Tennis - We have our league matches this Week. Today at 3:30 pm against Golden for 1st place in league, and then Thurs against Green Mountain at 4 pm at home.

Homecoming tickets will be sold at the bookkeeper's office during both A and B lunch of Homecoming week on September 30th, October 1st, and October 2nd. They are $10 dollars at the bookkeeper; buy $15 dollars at the door. The bookkeeper will only take cash and checks, so make sure to plan ahead!

Join us for our preseason workouts in the wrestling room on Mondays 4:15 pm-5:45 pm, Wednesdays 6 pm- 7:30 pm, and Fridays 4:15 pm- 5:45 pm.
