CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR LIONS FOLLIES VARIETY SHOW WINNERS! In the Instrumental music category, we had a tie for first between A Million Dollars Just Doesn’t go Very Far and the Drum Line!! In the Creative Act category the winner was the Hip Hop Club Dance! And in the skit category we had another tie between the Junior class skit and the Sophomore class skit!! Way to go everyone, it was a wonderful show!!

Club Announcements:

ATTENTION ALL STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS, AMBASSADORS AND GENERAL COUNCIL MEMBERS—there is a General Council meeting today in the forum starting at 2:20-please be there! Thanks!

Zumba will meet this afternoon at 2:30 in the cafeteria. We had a great turn-out last time and it was a lot of fun!

Do you want to help plan a fun and stress-relieving holiday event for December? Come to a joint Balance and GSA meeting on Wed. in the art room after school. Do something positive for LHS!

FBLA members: don’t forget to turn in permission slips for Stock Market Challenge to Mrs. Martin’s office before Friday. The bus for the challenge will leave from the cafeteria entrance at 10:30 am on Friday, November 19, 2010. Don’t be late or you will be left!

SWIM TEST: Signups for the swim test at LHS Tues., Nov. 16 or Wed., Nov. 17, 2:30 pm sharp in the LHS pool are STILL available in the Counseling Office. Stop by the Counseling Office for details.

LHS will host LHS' first International Week Study Abroad Fair on November 18th from 6pm - 8 pm in the cafeteria. International study and service organizations will share information and promotional material about their programs — People to People, Bold Leaders and ASSE (International Student Exchange Programs). LHS faculty and students will share their international study, service, work and travel experiences! We hope to see you there!
