Wanna be blown away by the slam/hip-hop sounds of Minor Disturbance, a prize-winning poetry troupe representing several Denver-area high schools? If so, come to the forum for The Edgar Allan POETRY SLAM at 3:00 today. Bring either a dollar or some original poetry to read, as an open-mic session will precede the featured performers.

SWIM TEST: Signups for the swim test at Littleton High School will begin Mon., Nov. 1 in the Counseling Office. The test is Tues., Nov. 16 or Wed., Nov. 17, 2:30 pm sharp in the LHS pool. Registration is open to all LPS students in all grades and is limited to 30 students per session. To sign-up or for specific criteria for the test, stop by the Counseling Office.

The categories are: Best Traditional Halloween, Best Pair, Best Group, Most Creative, Scariest, and Best “Thinking out of the Box” costume. Make sure you don’t break any Code of Conduct rules and no full face masks allowed. Come to the cafeteria to tomorrow to have your picture taken by our judges!

Come and cheer for your Rasta Lions Ultimate team today after school. The first-ever Ultimate Frisbee game in the LPS stadium will start at 3:15. It will be free and fun!

Instead of throwing your shoes in a landfill, please donate your "gently worn" footwear to people in need instead of throwing them away. Green Club will be collecting shoes through 10/29 in room 132E. One pair of shoes = one entry in a raffle for a prize!!
