It’s that time of the year again where giving is so important! Student Council is asking you to help out with our GIVING SNOWMAN project to benefit the Musana Orphanage in Uganda—which was started by two former LHS students! We will be putting a SNOWMAN up in the hallway outside of the Math/Lang Arts offices. Each SNOWFLAKE on the SNOWMAN will have the name of an Orphan from Musana, their gender, age, hobbies and size. We are asking that you bring in clothes, toys, coloring books, puzzle books, stuffed animals, or anything else you think a child would love to have in Uganda!! Attach the snowflake to your present and bring it up to the Social Studies office and put it next to Ms Prestel’s desk. The GIVING SNOWMAN will run from Dec. 6 to Dec. 16th. LET’S HELP GIVE THESE CHILDREN A GREAT CHRISTMAS!
