Academic Announcements:

PLAN test results will be distributed on Thurs., Dec. 8, in Room 103 at 2:30 pm. Ms. Gobble will be going over how to interpret your results, so please be there on time. This should only take about 10 minutes. Students who cannot pick up their tests at this time, can get them in the Counseling Office. Students can only pickup their own tests.

Sophomores: 2nd Semester Schedule Adjustments are today in the counseling office. Please stop by on your off periods only.

Club Announcements:

FBLA members don't forget that we will be helping customers at the Arapahoe Santa Claus shop this Thursday, December 8, 2011 after school. Please meet in Mrs. Martin's room by 2:25 pm.

FBLA members wanting to compete in the upcoming district conference...the sign up sheet is in room 124 and will be taken down on Thursday, December 8th after school! Do not miss your opportunity to sign up for competition.

It’s time for the Student Council’s GIVING SNOWMAN project that benefits the Musana Orphanage in Uganda. The GIVING SNOWMAN will be up today in the hallway outside of the Math/Lang Arts offices. Each SNOWFLAKE on the SNOWMAN will have the name of an Orphan from Musana, their gender, age, hobbies and size. We are asking that you bring in clothes, toys, coloring books, puzzle books, stuffed animals, or anything else you think a child would love to have in Uganda!! Attach the snowflake to your present and bring it up to the Social Studies office and put it next to Ms Prestel’s desk. The GIVING SNOWMAN will run from today to Dec. 16th. LET’S HELP GIVE THESE CHILDREN A GREAT CHRISTMAS!

Special Events:

Join us for a Christmas concert from the professional a cappella group “Home Free Vocal Band” from Chicago on Monday December 12th at 7:00pm in the Mane Stage Theatre. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students/senior citizens and available through the music department and at the door beginning at 6 pm.

Other Announcements:

Attention Sophomores: Parking passes will be available for 2nd semester starting next week. Please purchase them from the bookkeeper during exam week for $25.00.

Yearbooks must be purchased by Friday, December 9. The cost is $55 and payments should be given to the bookkeeper. There will be no sales after this date, including when the yearbooks arrive. See Mrs. Smith with questions.

FROM THE LIBRARY: PLEASE RETURN ALL BOOKS TO THE LIBRARY BY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9TH. THERE WILL BE NO MORE CHECK-OUT PERMITTED AFTER FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9TH. YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107. Please use the forum entrance.
