Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Heritage/Littleton Girl’s Lacrosse team for their win over Columbine HS last night 13-11! Way to go LIONS!!

Congratulations to the Varsity girl’s soccer team for their double overtime win at Evergreen last night. Jen Speck scored the goal from Emily Donohoue's pass. Goalkeeper, Sam McCurley recorded her fourth shut out of the season. Well done ladies!

Spring Break is almost here! Tomorrow you have the chance to feed your inner artist by painting a pot anytime between 11 am to 9 pm at the Hot Pots Pottery Studio in Downtown Littleton and don't forget to mention you are supporting LHS FBLA!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Varsity Baseball team with their blowout on Tuesday over Mead HS 24-0. Dane Donegan pitched a no-hitter! Way to go Lions!

Congratulations to the LHS Varsity Cheerleaders who were honored with the Continental League Team Sportsmanship Award. This honor is voted upon by all of the cheer and dance coaches in the league and the LHS Cheers won by a unanimous vote. They were specifically recognized for their commitment to raising over $2500 for their cancer charity, Team Tina, and for making a difference in the lives of others. We are so proud of you!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the girl's varsity soccer team on their 3 and 0 start to the season. They have scored 15 goals and not conceded any and are currently joint top of the Continental League! Wish them luck as they travel to Evergreen on Thursday. Congratulations are also due to the JV and C teams on their undefeated starts to the season. Well done ladies!

Club Announcements:

Green Club is today!! We’ll be recycling AND painting the compost bin. Should be fun!! Teachers, please remember to put your blue recycling bins in the hallway after school. Thank you!

Tomorrow is Big Baby Bottle Day; one FBLA representative from each class will be carrying a big baby bottle and collecting your loose change to help raise money for the March of Dimes which provides funds for premature babies. Here’s a chance to empty your pockets to help save babies.

This Wednesday, March 16, LHS-FBLA will be collecting loose change to help raise money for the March of Dimes which provides funds for premature babies. Wednesday is Big Baby Bottle Day; one FBLA representative from each class will be carrying a big baby bottle and collecting your loose change. Representatives include: Freshman representative - Gina Tolley, Sophomore representative - Ryan Dinneen, Junior representative - Alex Boyle, and Senior representative - Jia Chu. Find a FBLA representative and give your loose change to save babies.

Cheerleading tryouts for the 2011-2012 squads start today at 4:30 in the south gym. A reminder that the following items are to be turned in to Coach DeAnna Koepke in order to try out: Proof of a current physical - Release of liability - Print out of current grades - Statement of Understanding - Parent Contract. No athletes will be permitted to participate in tryouts without the proper paperwork turned in on time. Good luck to everyone trying out!
