Student Recognition & Congratulations:

The Littleton High wrestling team won 3 out of 5 dual matches on Saturday at Gateway HS. James McNally and Sal Gonzales were undefeated for the day, both wrestled 5 matches. Jacob Figueroa won 4 out of 5 matches. Way to go LIONS!

Academic Announcements:

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 11th, is a LATE START day! Classes start at 9:15am.

Club Announcements:

Rock 'n' Roll club will meet today at 2:30 in room 112. This week's topic - Punk Music! See you there!

FBLA members...it's time to take your FBLA district tests! Please come see Mrs. Martin to arrange for time to take your online or production test. This week is the ONLY time to get the testing done. Testing will take place each day immediately afterschool in room 124 OR you can come by on an off period to take your test.

FBLA members attending the district conference: We have a very important meeting this Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 2:20 pm in room 124. There is a huge announcement about the upcoming conference. Please do not miss this meeting! See you there! Mrs. Martin

Sports Announcements:

Boys Swimming we will have our first meeting for the season this Thursday in room 134E at 2:30. We will discuss preseason and season commitments. If you cannot attend please see Coach Foto to get this important information.

Boys Lacrosse: Sign-up for Indoor Winterball now! Sign-up sheet is in the athletic office. Check to make sure your name is on the sign-up sheet so we can keep you in the communication loop.

Lacrosse preseason conditioning has begun! Mondays & Wednesdays on LHS turf from 2:45-4PM; Tuesdays & Thursdays in the weight room from 2:45-3:30PM. Contact Coach Matt Marshall if you have any questions.

At Thornton HS tonight at 7:00pm, the Varsity Boys Basketball will be going up against Thornton Trojans! Come out and support your team!

Special Events:

Ink Magazine will be hosting its first poetry slam of the semester on Wednesday, January 11th at 7:00 PM in the theater. Admission is free, but you may be hounded for a small donation that will help fund our magazine, so bring your $100 bills. LPS grad and Denver spoken-word poet Kyle Sutherland will be hosting. Come to rock the mic or just to hoot and holler!!

For those who wish to bring a guest to the Winter Dance on January 28th, guest forms are available at student services.
