Student Recognition & Congratulations:
Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for their outstanding performance on Friday at the Liberty Bell invite. The boys led by Jack Robb and Ian Cox placed 18th and the girls led by Magda vanLeeuwan and Kelly Dinneen placed 15th. Way to go runners!
Academic Announcements:
PSAT - Practice SAT registration begins today in the Counseling Office. Cost is $20, cash or check to LHS, and students must pay when registering for the test to be held at LHS on Oct. 17 at 7:30 am. Space is limited and signups will go thru Oct. 12.
PLAN - Practice ACT, all sophomores will be required to take the PLAN test at LHS on Oct. 10 beginning at 7:30 am. Additional information will be distributed to the students prior to the test. There is no fee for the test.
Juniors and Seniors - This week, college representatives from colleges that have traditionally been very popular with Littleton students will visit. On Tuesday, you can meet with admissions reps from Creighton University, Metro State University of Denver, and Macalester. Then on Thursday, the University of Colorado-Colo. Springs and Scripps College will visit. Go onto your Naviance account and look under the Colleges tab to check on the times and sign up. Meetings will take place in the Counseling Office.

Is your life in Balance? Come join us for the first meeting of Balance today - Monday Sept. 17th from 2:20 to 3:00 in room 145. Come relax with us and plan the years events.

The Peace Jam and Green Clubs welcome anyone who is interested in helping to organize International Education Week events at our upcoming meeting on Tuesday, Sept 18th between 2:20 and 2:45pm in Room 206. Hope to see you there!

ENCORE MEET & GREET BBQ right before the Collage Concert, Wednesday September 19th, from 5 to 6:45 pm. Please bring family and friends to help raise funds for LHS Performing Arts! Prepaid tickets are $6 each or 4 for $20. At the door tickets are $7 each or 4 for $25. Purchase tickets Tuesday in the cafeteria from 10:30 -12:30 or by emailing lhsencorefundraising@gmail.com or from Jim Farrell. Bring your own blanket or chairs. FREE Ticket if you donate clean Prom Attire to LHS Performing Arts (see a Board Member or Jim Farrell for details). The Collage Concert starts at 7 pm in the theater.
Homecoming Dance Guest Forms will be available in Student Services and are due Thursday 9/27/12 by noon. The Homecoming dance will be on September 29, 2012.
