For further information on the PSAT, the practice SAT test, please stop by the Counseling office. The cost of the test is $20 and will be held at LHS on Oct. 17 at 7:30 am. Space is limited and signups will go thru Oct. 12.
PLAN - Practice ACT, all sophomores will be required to take the PLAN test at LHS on Oct. 10 beginning at 7:30 am. Additional information will be distributed to the students prior to the test. There is no fee for the test.
Juniors and Seniors - Today you can meet with admissions reps from Creighton University, Macalester, and Metro State University of Denver. The MSUDenver rep will meet in the forum at 10:45a and the others in the Counseling office. Please go onto your Naviance account or check with Post Grad for more information.
For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107. Please use the forum entrance.
Club Announcements:
The Peace Jam and Green Clubs welcome anyone who is interested in helping to organize International Education Week events at our meeting today between 2:20 and 2:45pm in Room 206. Hope to see you there!
HIP HOP will meet on Wednesday, 9/19 and Thursday 9/20 in the Forum from 2:30 to 3:30. We need to block moves this week, so please be on time.
FCCLA will be meeting this Thursday after school in room 120.

Hey guys, want to show off your awesome jumping ability and great volleyball kills!? If so, sign up for Homecoming Guys Vball and show everyone that your CLASS is the best in the school. Teams need to be class related and there can be multiple teams per class. Sign up forms are on the bulletin boards in the Lang Arts hall and the main office. AND GALS, don't be left out of the Homecoming fun! Sign up for Girls Powder Puff Football where each class will play each other to determine the best girls in the school! Again, sign up on the bulletin boards or the main office.
Homecoming Royalty nominations are HERE! Go to the senior hallway during lunches on Thursday and Friday this week to nominate a girl and guy from EACH class to be on the Homecoming Royalty Court. See Ms Prestel, Katie Diddlebock or Jarod Todeschi if you have any questions.

ENCORE MEET & GREET BBQ right before the Collage Concert, tomorrow September 19th, from 5 to 6:45 pm. Please bring family and friends to help raise funds for LHS Performing Arts! Prepaid tickets are $6 each or 4 for $20. At the door tickets are $7 each or 4 for $25. Purchase tickets Tuesday in the cafeteria from 10:30 -12:30 or by emailinglhsencorefundraising@gmail.com or from Jim Farrell. FREE Ticket if you donate clean Prom Attire to LHS Performing Arts (see a Board Member or Jim Farrell for details). Bring your own blanket or chairs. The Collage Concert starts at 7 pm in the theater.
THE STRIDE is a community 5K and 10K running and walking event coming on October 28. It is organized by the Littleton Foundation to raise money for our schools, and financial awards are given to the schools that have the most participants. Last year LHS beat out Heritage and Arapahoe and we received one thousand dollars for our school. We want to win again this year and we need your help. Get your friends and family members to sign up for THE STRIDE through our school webpage. If you sign up this week, on or before Friday, you will get $5 off your registration fee. That means just $15 if you are under 17. See any of the PE staff members if you need more information. Get your registrations in and let's win this thing again LIONS!!!
Homecoming Dance Guest Forms will be available in Student Services and are due Thursday 9/27/12 by noon. The Homecoming dance will be on September 29, 2012.
