Congratulations to the Boys varsity soccer team on their hard fought 1-nil victory over Castleview HS last night. Alex Olvera scored the goal from an assist by Will Paton. Goalkeeper Edgar Cervantes had the shut out. Come and watch the boys in the stadium tomorrow night against Ponderosa at 7pm.

HIP HOP will meet today and tomorrow in the Forum from 2:30 to 3:30. We need to block moves this week, so please be on time.
FCCLA will be meeting this Thursday after school in room 120.
Attention Senior girls! The SWAG t-shirt deadline has been moved back to Thursday 20th for ordering your shirt and getting your money in. If you want to show your senior "awesomeness" get your SWAG shirt and hat SOON! Shirts are $12 and hats are $9; please drop off your money to Allie, Kacee, Annie or Ms Prestel.
Class t-shirts will be on sale ALL this week-- during LUNCHES AND AFTER SCHOOL! So, head to the cafeteria to pick up your shirt and get some LHS LION spirit!

ENCORE MEET & GREET BBQ will be right before the Collage Concert tonight at 5:00pm in the west parking lot. Please check the announcement blog for ticket information. The Collage Concert starts at 7:00pm in the theater. Hope to see you there.
The Choir Department is holding a Garage Sale and Car Wash this Saturday, Sep 22, 8am-12pm, in the Littleton High School front parking lot. Donation items for the garage sale would be greatly appreciated, and can be dropped off in the theatre lobby Thursday Sep 20 - Friday Sep 21, or on Saturday Sep 22 between 7am-8am. Come out and show your support for the choir department on Saturday Sep 22! Bring your friends and family!
THE STRIDE is a community 5K and 10K running and walking event coming on October 28. It is organized by the Littleton Foundation to raise money for our schools, and financial awards are given to the schools that have the most participants. Last year LHS beat out Heritage and Arapahoe and we received one thousand dollars for our school. We want to win again this year and we need your help. Get your friends and family members to sign up for THE STRIDE through our school webpage. If you sign up this week, on or before Friday, you will get $5 off your registration fee. That means just $15 if you are under 17. See any of the PE staff members if you need more information. Get your registrations in and let's win this thing again LIONS!!!
Home Coming Announcements:
Hey guys, want to show off your awesome jumping ability and great volleyball kills!? If so, sign up for Homecoming Guys Vball and show everyone that your CLASS is the best in the school. Teams need to be class related and there can be multiple teams per class. Sign up forms are on the bulletin boards in the Lang Arts hall and the main office. AND GALS, don't be left out of the Homecoming fun! Sign up for Girls Powder Puff Football where each class will play each other to determine the best girls in the school! Again, sign up on the bulletin boards or the main office.
Homecoming Royalty nominations are HERE! Go to the senior hallway during lunches on Thursday and Friday this week to nominate a girl and guy from EACH class to be on the Homecoming Royalty Court. See Ms Prestel, Katie Diddlebock or Jarod Todeschi if you have any questions.

FREE Ticket if you donate clean Prom Attire to LHS Performing Arts (see a Board Member or Jim Farrell for details). Bring your own blanket or chairs. The Collage Concert starts at 7 pm in the theater.
For further information on the PSAT, the practice SAT test, please stop by the Counseling office. The cost of the test is $20 and will be held at LHS on Oct. 17 at 7:30 am. Space is limited and signups will go thru Oct. 12.
PLAN - Practice ACT, all sophomores will be required to take the PLAN test at LHS on Oct. 10 beginning at 7:30 am. Additional information will be distributed to the students prior to the test. There is no fee for the test.
