Blog Announcements:

It is time to send your friend or sweetheart a Halloween O Gram!   A Halloween O Gram is a message and a handful of candy that you buy from a Student Council member and send to your friends!  Student Council will be selling these for only a dollar! All the money goes to the Musana Orphanage in Uganda-so help Student Council out and buy lots of Halloween O Grams.

Hello LHS families! Last year PTO organized an upgrade to the library, filling the two empty planters with silk plants. The plants have given the library a whole new look. It’s a wonderful improvement! This year, we will be tackling the planters in the cafeteria. We can use your help! If you have any silk plants (green plants only, please) that you are no longer using, we can put those to use in the cafeteria. PTO will begin collecting plants, and when we have enough, we will start “planting” new displays. If you have anything you would like to donate, please bring them to school (leave them with Therese Mashak) or email Wendy Burbage  (wlb1963@msn.com). Thank you in advance for helping us beautify our school!

Attention all Internet Users.  We want to let you know that as of Monday, October 22nd, YouTube has been unblocked at Littleton High School.  This makes us the only LPS school with direct access to this website.  This came about because a student at LHS took on this topic in debate class last spring and after many meetings with teachers, administrators, and people at the district, LHS has been allowed to pilot open access to this website.  What this means is that content coming in to LHS through YouTube will go through the same Internet filter that all other content goes through, and teacher passwords will no longer be necessary for us to access it.  We imagine that the district and other LPS high schools will be watching our experience, so Lions, please use YouTube responsibly, and enjoy your new access.  Congratulations to Raj Reddy who led this effort.
