Attention all poets, performers, and creative writers!  Do you want to work on your slam poetry?  This Friday, the 2nd, Jovan Mays will work with Littleton students on their original poetry after school in the forum.  This is an opportunity for students to create and work on their original slam poems with a professional poet.  Jovan is a 2011 National Poetry Slam Champion, and he will also emcee the 2nd annual LPS Poetry Slam on the 13th of November at the Ames Facility.  Last year, LHS students took 1st and 2nd place at the slam, and we're looking to represent our school proudly again this year.  Come by the forum after school on Friday, or see Mr. Saliman for more details.

For ALL of those that auditioned for Lions Follies set lists are posted in the library, main office, and the choir hall bulletin board.  Rehearsals start Mon, November 5th.

Hello LHS families! Last year PTO organized an upgrade to the library, filling the two empty planters with silk plants. The plants have given the library a whole new look. It’s a wonderful improvement! This year, we will be tackling the planters in the cafeteria. We can use your help! If you have any silk plants (green plants only, please) that you are no longer using, we can put those to use in the cafeteria. PTO will begin collecting plants, and when we have enough, we will start “planting” new displays. If you have anything you would like to donate, please bring them to school (leave them with Therese Mashak) or email Wendy Burbage  (wlb1963@msn.com). Thank you in advance for helping us beautify our school!
