Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Please congratulate the following competitors for their success at the FCCLA 2012 State Conference. Annie Robertson received a 3rd place Gold in Nutrition and Wellness and Bhewattie Nauth received a Bronze in Life Event Planning

Congratulations to the Girl's varsity soccer team for their 2-1 victory over Regis last night. Lanie Sumlin and Pam Sena were the goal scorers and Marin Ricketson had an assist.

Make plans to attend the Spring College Fair this Sunday at the University of Denver's Ritchie Center. The free fair begins at 1 p.m. and college representatives from across the country will share information about their programs and admissions requirements. Also, a workshop on paying for college will be offered in both English and Spanish.

Littleton FBLA would like to thank everyone who participated in our 50/50 challenge. We had a total of 60 tickets sold. The winner of our 50/50 challenge is...Ella Kilroy! Congratulations Ella...you have won $30! 50/50 challenge donations will be added to additional money collected this year for a grand total of over $200 raised for the March of Dimes. Thank you to everyone who participated...you just helped to save babies.

Attention seniors and juniors, Student Council will PROVIDE masks at Prom for anyone who wants one. We will also have masks for the picture booth so that you can take your Prom pictures with a mask. See you there!

Attention all Juniors and Seniors, PROM tickets will go on sale today during A and B lunches from the bookkeepers office-not the cafeteria. Tickets are $40 for everyone--LHS students or not.

After Prom is fast approaching! This fun event offers ice skating (bring some socks!!), broomball, video games, food and more. All juniors, seniors and their approved guests are welcome to join in the fun, whether you go to prom or not. Those who buy tickets in advance are entered in the drawings for multiple door prizes including restaurant gift certificates. Look for ticket sellers in the café hallway next Tuesday and Thursday or see the bookkeeper.

If you have lost your ID and need it for Prom, remakes are available in the library for $5!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

The girls' JV golf team finished in first place in yesterdays Continental League tournament at Family Sports. Sophomores Ashlynn Hunt and Brett Maney and freshmen Madi Gore and Emily Toltz all scored in the 40's to earn the victory. The girls held off second place Heritage by one stroke and third place Regis by 3 strokes. Great job ladies!

Congrats to the Boy’s Varsity Lacrosse team for their win over Ridge View Academy 14-1. The boy’s lacrosse C team had an amazing victory yesterday over Arapahoe, winning 5-4. The defense played superbly and goalkeeper Seth Goldstein made several key saves.

The JV Girls tennis team had another impressive performance, winning their 6th match in a row with a decisive 13-5 victory over Evergreen! Way to go LIONS!!

Both JV and Varsity Girls tennis defeated Chaparral last night. JV won 7 to 6 and varsity won 5 to 2. Congratulations to both squads as they prepare for their tournaments on Friday and Saturday. Keep up the good work!

Help raise money to make this possible and you just might be the lucky winner of 1/2...yes that is 1/2 of all money raised during the 50/50 challenge! • Thurs: Ride Your Bike to School Day. Join us for breakfast in the cafeteria.

After surviving the Nazi death camp in Auschwitz, Holocaust survivor Jack Welner made himself a promise--to be a living testament against the evils of racism and discrimination and for the powerful, positive potential of humanity. Mr. Welner shares his story with the support of DeAnne Kapnik, Director of Programming, Mizel Museum of Judaica.

LOOSE CHANGE FOR UGANDA!! The Remember Campaign members and Student Council want you to bring in all your loose change and dollar bills to donate to our LOOSE CHANGE FOR UGANDA fundraiser. We will be collecting from you during the all of the Remember presentations this week; then Student Council will match the amount of funds raised through the loose change collection! Our goal is $600! THANKS!
