Please join me in congratulating senior Molly
Bartlett who earned three 1st place ribbons for her incredible photography
images as well as an overall 1st place in the recent Career & Technical
Education (CTE) State of Colorado Commercial Photography contest. Her images
are simply breath taking and she wrote a distinguished essay paper. Nice
job, Molly!

invites you to head down to the grass soccer fields today right after the

Operation Smoke Signal is a large-scale disaster training drill that will take place at the Metro Fire Training Academy (2301 W Chenango Street, Littleton), on Saturday, May 19, 2012. The drill will be facilitated by O.M.E.G.A., a non-profit volunteer organization whose mission is to support local, state and federal agencies with disaster preparedness and disaster response.
Members
of the community, including LPS students, are invited to volunteer as role
players who are victims of a massive tornado. The disaster drill's
focal point is to enhance the skill sets of local emergency response
volunteers. If you are interested in participating, you can go online
to www.OMEGAresponders.org for
additional information
Students: When you return in August, you will no
longer log into the computers using your first initial last name. Because of
this change, the files you have saved on the student server will no longer be
available. Please make sure you have saved your files from the student
server to some other storage device (e.g. flash drive, upload to GoogleApps,
etc) BEFORE you leave for the
summer. If you have any questions or need help, please come to the
library.
