Student Recognition & Congratulations:
Congratulations to our January Athletes of the Month. Gentry Girtin for boys basketball, Stephanie Puchino for girls basketball, Max Madorsky for wrestling, and Caitlyn Durston for girls swimming. Way to go Lions!
Academic Announcements:
Students who are planning to take AP exams can pay for their exams in the counseling office today - March 31. Students must first complete and print a copy of the AP survey on their Naviance account to bring with them when paying for their exams. They must bring a check made out to LHS or pay cash at the time of registration. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Zerr in the counseling Office.
Club Announcements:
Student Council officers and ambassadors, PLEASE make sure you turn your Val-O-Grams by THIS Wednesday afternoon. You can put them on Ms Prestel's desk or bring them down to 209. We are delivering them on Thursday. Thanks!
The Peace Jam and Green Clubs will meet in Room 206 at 2:20 tomorrow. Green Club is especially in great need of students who can help with the recycling program. Community Service, IB CAS credit, and great appreciation will be given for your efforts! We hope to see you there!
Sport Announcements:
All Unified Partners - reminder the yearbook picture will be taken Monday night at 6:00. Please wear your purple shirt and be here by 5:50.....game against Chatfield HS to follow at 7!
All boys interested in playing Spring lacrosse need to attend a very important player and parent meeting tomorrow night in the LHS Forum at 7PM. Find out about tryouts which begin on 2/25 and what paperwork needs to be completed to become an LHS LAX Lion player!

Special Events:
Legally Blonde the Musical opens at the end of this month on the LHS Mane Stage. Tickets are available at the box office during A and B lunches,6th period and after school. $7.00 for students and $10.00 for adults, the show opens Thursday February 28th at 7pm! Wear pink when you purchase your ticket and receive $1 off each ticket purchased!

Well, your fellow peer counselors will be leading group discussions every Monday after school from 2:15-3:30 in the counseling office! Hello all LHS families! Mark your calendar now for a delicious way to support After-Prom! Plan on eating dinner at Merle’s restaurant on Tuesday, February, 26 and 10% will be donated to PTO After-Prom party. Don’t worry about cooking dinner for the evening, and help out a super fun cause! Just let your server at Merle’s know you are from LHS…. it’s that easy!!!
