Student Recognition & Congratulations:
Congratulations to the Lion Ultimate open team on their 13-11 win over Regis, improving their record to 4 and 2. The girl’s team goes up against Lakewood today at O'Kane Park at 4:30.
Congratulations to the Women's soccer C Team on their come from behind win over Douglas County HS last night. Excellent team defense with goals were scored by Lindsey Silverman and Callie Brewster. Way to go Lions!

An admissions officer from CU-Denver will be in the Post Grad Center today at 11 a.m. This is a great opportunity to find out about the programs and the application process to this selective school on the downtown Auraria campus.

Key Club is meeting today at 2:20 in room 126. We will be discussing elections for next year’s officers.
FBLA members: please join us today at 2:20 pm in room 124. We will celebrate our FBLA achievements this school year with food and letters! Officer applications will be available at this meeting.
Musana gifts on sale during Earth Week! Starting today, you can head over to the main lobby and pick out a hand-made beautifully colored tote bag, or maybe some handmade earrings, or you and your friends could pool your money and buy a chicken for the kids at Musana! The Musana gifts will be available in the main lobby all day on Thursday and Friday--so bring in some extra money to help out our friends over in Uganda!
Special Events:
On Friday we have our amazing Spring Pep Assembly--if you are in a spring sport and are a senior, please make sure you are on the gym floor at the start of the assembly. Also, if you are in FBLA, TSA, FCCLA, DECA, Speech and Debate and competed at State or another competition, please make sure you are on the gym floor, too! Finally, all our Ultimate Frisbee seniors, Continental League Art finalists and Prom Royalty, please be down on the floor, also. Everyone else—wear your class t-shirts and be ready to be loud!!!

All seniors participating in Life 101: this is just a reminder that the fourth session of Life 101 will take place tonight from 6-8 in the LHS library. Please visit the Facebook page to answer the survey question regarding your attendance. Hope to see all of you there!
Don't forget to buy your prom ticket at the bookkeeper's window this week during lunches or after school. Avoid long lines to purchase at the dance and get them early! $40 for juniors and guests and FREE for seniors. Don't forget to bring your school ID and we will see you Saturday night for Midnight in Paris!

To all LHS parents of junior and senior students – we need your help for 2 ½ hours this coming Saturday/Sunday from 1-3:30 a.m. to help chaperone for after-prom at Brunswick Zone- Park Meadows. We still have 8 positions that need to be filled to help ensure a safe and fun evening for our students. Please consider lending a hand. Thanks to everyone who has already signed up to help out! LPS Summer School Brochures are available in the Counseling Office. The enrollment forms must be signed by your counselor and parent and returned to Arapahoe Community College. ACC accepts checks, credit card or money orders, but they do not accept cash. Please see your counselor for more information.
