Student Recognition & Congratulations:

The JV soccer team beat previously undefeated Mountain Vista yesterday 2 to 1. Morgan Harris and David Mendez scored the Lion's goals, while Miguel Donohoo and Roy Garcia anchored a strong defensive effort.

Student Announcements:

Picture Retake Day is TOMORROW, October 3rd in Theater Lobby.  Please bring your original picture packet.  Late order pictures arrived yesterday and can be picked up in main office, see Mrs. Mountfort.  Order forms are available as well.

Academic Announcements:

Attention Seniors - Josten's will be here TODAY and TOMORROW to take orders for Graduation.  They will be in the senior hall from 10:30a.m to 12:00p.m both days.

Attention Juniors and Seniors.  An admissions rep from the University of Washington in Seattle will be here to meet with students on Thursday, October 3rd ... AND from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio and Fort Lewis College in Durango will all be here on Friday, October 4th. Please stop by Post Grad to get a pass out of class to attend these meetings.

Club Announcements:

FBLA will meet TOMORROW at 2:30pm in room 124.  See you there!

FCCLA will be meeting TOMORROW in room 120, right after school.

Technology Student Association it's that time of year where it's time to get to work.  We have a meeting TOMORROW in the tech lab.  It will start promptly at 2:20pm.  Paid members will begin signing up for events, so bring your $25 membership fee and get started.  See you in the tech lab on Thursday.

Attention gamers!  The Role Playing Game Club is hosting and all-school all star Super Smash Brothers Brawl tournament TOMORROW after school in room 113.  All students are welcome to attend, and check out the rest of our games while you're there.  Sign up or see Mr. Saliman for more details.

Sport Announcements:

TODAY, the Varsity Littleton Heritage Softball team will play Castleview at their home field, Euclid Middle school at 330 pm.  If they win, they will be in the playoffs.  Come cheer them on!

Special Events:

From the Mane Stage: Join us for a steam punk twist on Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest".  The show opens TOMORROW,  October 3rd at 7pm and runs Friday, October 4th at 7 and Saturday, October 5th at 6. Student tickets are $7.00, and adult tickets are $10.00.  Tickets are available at the box office during A and B lunch, or online at: www.seatyourself.biz/lhsperformingarts. Come see why being Ernest is the best way to go!

Invisible Children presentation is TODAY! Come see the film and presentation in the Forum, blocks 2, 4, 6 and 8 -  Discover who they are?  Find out how they are making a difference in the lives of young people both in America and Uganda. 

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

Blog Announcements:

Juniors can sign up in the Counseling Office for the PSAT (practice SAT) Sept. 23 - Oct. 11. The test is Wed., Oct. 16, 7:30 - 11:30 am in the LHS South Gym. Registrations are limited to the first 200 students, and students must pay the $20, non-refundable fee when they sign up.

Attentions all students, LHS Bookkeeping will be closed from 7:30-9:00am daily.  Please plan accordingly. THANK YOU!

For students not able to attend the Academic Awards Program, please stop by the main office to pick up your award.

SAVE THE DATE:  The LPS Foundation is having their 18th annual Stride 2013 on Sunday, October 27 at the Littleton Museum.  Register online at www.runthestride.com  or register in person at the Boulder Running Company, 8116 W. Bowles Avenue in Littleton OR at Run Colorado, 8505 E. Arapahoe Rd. in Centennial from Friday, Sept 27, through 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 23.  Join your fellow students in either a 5K or 10K race through the beautiful streets of Littleton.  We have been challenged to win the High School Competition for a third year in a row so we need to have as many participants as possible join the "Littleton High School" team.  If our school has the largest percentage of participants, we win $1,000 again.  GO LIONS!!!
