Congratulations to the boys C team in their 6-1 win over Douglas County. Goals were scored by Ivan Magana, Clayton Pratt, Matteo Teisi, Jose Torres and Nick Castle. The C Team will wrap up their season this Friday with a rematch at Denver East High at 4:30.
Academic Announcements:
Juniors – TOMORROW is the last day to sign up for the PSAT - Practice SAT. Sign-up in the Counseling Office. The cost is $20, cash or check made out to LHS. The test is Wed., Oct. 16, beginning at 7:20 in the South Gym. Registration is limited with the final deadline Fri., Oct. 11 if there is still space available.
Juniors and Seniors! Admissions reps from over 50 colleges and universities will be visiting our school to meet with students this week. the list is too long to read, but you can find a complete list on your Naviance account, as well as on the bulletin board across from the cafe. These rep meetings are just about the best way to find out more about schools you may be interested in. Stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass in order to attend.
Club Announcements:
Greetings Philosophers, Thinkers, and Wonderers: Please join us after school today in room 103 as we watch the film, The Man From Earth. Discussion will follow. The movie starts at 2:30.
Key Club will meet today in room 211 after school to discuss upcoming service opportunities. If you have your membership dues, please bring them to the meeting. If you do not have your dues yet but intend to join, please come along anyway!

Students – do you need a computer? If you do not have a computer at home, we have free computers for you. These are refurbished desktop computers, not laptops. They use the XP operating system and are loaded with Open Office; please see Mr. Hahn in the counseling office to receive a voucher for a free computer and/or more information.
Class t-shirts: we are changing our procedure for picking up your class t-shirts, if you are missing yours; please see Ms Prestel at any time the Social Studies office or in room 209 to get your shirt. Thanks

Save the Date – Sunday, October 27th for the 18th Annual Stride . Join your fellow students in either a 5K or 10K race through the beautiful streets of Littleton. We have been challenged to win the School Competition for the 3rd year in a row, so we need to have as many participants as possible join the Littleton High School team. If our school has the largest percentage of participants, we win $1,000! The PE department is giving extra credit for PE Students who sign up.
