Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to our varsity volleyball team who swept the visiting Fruita Wildcats last night at home in a three game sweep! The Lady Lions held off Fruita 25-17, 25-23, and 25-11. Congrats and good luck this weekend as they travel to the Gold Crown facility for the Regis Volleyball Tournament!

The JV boys’ soccer team had a hard fought 1 to 0 victory over Cherokee Trail yesterday. Matteo Tesei scored the goal.

Please see NHS sponsors, Mr. Hahn or Ms. Fritz with any questions.

Hi Parents!  Join us for our first Tailgate Party in the stadium parking lot this Friday for our first home game!  If you were at the Glenmoor FUNraiser, the football ticket you received is for THIS GAME!  Let's cheer on the Lions as they face Wheat Ridge at 7pm.

The Choir Department is holding its third annual Garage Sale and Car Wash fundraiser on Saturday, September 6, 8am-12pm in the Littleton High School front parking lot. The money raised will help with the cost of choir outfits for the Troubadours and Syrens.  Donation items for the garage sale would be greatly appreciated, and can be dropped off in the theatre lobby Thursday, September 4, Friday, September 5, or the day of the garage sale between 7am-8am. (All unsold items will be donated to charity after the sale.)  Volunteers to help set up and assist during the event are needed as well.  Come out and show your support for the choir department on Saturday, September 6!  Bring your friends and family!

Senior photos are due September 5.  See Ms. Fisher with questions. Additional information is on the website, “for Parents” tab/Yearbook information.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will begin next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.

Attention Students:  There is new language in the code of conduct regarding Policy JICG tobacco use.  These changes are board approved and state "Students may not possess tobacco products or paraphernalia on school premises or at school-sponsored events."  Please remember that electronic cigarettes, vape pens, etc are considered to be tobacco paraphernalia.  Listed on page 18 of the LPS code of conduct are specifics regarding rules and consequences.

MANY THANKS to those came to the PTO FUNraiser at Glenmoor last week! Thanks to you, we are off to a great start with raising funds to replace the 25-year-old sound system in the gym.  If you were not able to attend or did not have your checkbook handy, it’s not too late to donate!  Please make checks payable to “LHS PTO” and write “gym sound system” in the memo line.  You can send your check to LHS.
