Today is an EVEN Period Day – Periods 2.4.6.8

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congrats to the LHS Cross Country team!  Channeling the power of Mr. Bill, they excelled at Saturday's St. Vrain Invitational in Lyons.  The boys finished 13th in the 4A/5A division.  Colin Cannon led the way with a new personal record by almost a minute.  He was followed by Tommy Kail, Tyler Fuller, Ethan Ogden, and freshman Charlie Meserve.  Jackson Hootman, running in the JV race because he's a transfer, sped to a very respectable 12th-place finish.  Freshman sensation Addi Iken impressively led the girls team to a solid 17th-place finish. Also scoring for the Lions were Magda Van Leeuwen, Elizabeth Rothrock, Madeline Espinoza, and Jenae Stutzman.  Great job, Lions!

This weekend, the following students did an excellent job participating in the CU Honor Reading Choir:  Mikaela Long, Elena Mathys, Michael Shebowich, Maya Sjoberg, Ashlyn Stetzel, Eva Zamora.
