Today is an LATE START ODD Period Day – Periods 1.3.5.7

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulate your Lions cross country teams.  Your boys and girls teams swept the titles on Tuesday at the Golddigger Dash hosted by Clear Creek High School.  Our freshman sensation, Addi Iken, brought home the first-place ribbon in the girls race, crushing the field by 30 seconds on a tough, hilly course at 7700 feet of altitude.  Magda van Leeuwen sped to a terrific third-place finish, Claudia Kramer stepped up big-time to grab sixth, and Madeline Espinoza hung tough in placing 10th.  The boys won the crown led by Colin Cannon in third-place, followed by Tommy Kail in fifth, Ethan Ogden closed hard to take eighth, and Jackson Hootman gutted it out to place 15th.  Awesome day, Lions!

Congratulations to the Girls Volleyball Program who swept the Lincoln Lancers last night as they traveled to Lincoln High School! All LHS teams, Sophomore, JV and Varsity swept the the home team 2-0, 2-0, and 3-0. On the varsity team, Sr., Haley Hanna led the Lions as she earned 13 points on the night. Sr., Emma Capra earned 8 points, while Sophomores Mallory Burbage and Emma Parkhurst scored 6 points apiece for the Lions. Congratulations ladies!
