Today is an ODD Period Day – Periods 1.3.5.7.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to your "Lion Pride" Marching Band on their strong showing at the CBA State Marching Band Championships this past Saturday.  The Band moved up a spot to finish 16th overall in the State and received their highest score of the Competition Season.  Go Band!

Congratulations to all the students, families and faculty who participated in the Stride on Sunday. Through your efforts we had the greatest high school participation and we received $1,000 for our school from the Littleton Foundation. This is the fourth straight year that LHS has won this award.  Great job everyone!! GO LIONS!!

Congratulations to the athletes who represented Littleton High School on Saturday at the State cross country meet in Colorado Springs.  On a hot day and a dusty, hilly course, Addi Iken finished 53rd in the 4A girls championship race, while Colin Cannon was 81st and Tommy Kail was 105th in the 4A boys race.  Give them a fist bump when you see them for a job well done, and kudos to the entire cross country team for a terrific season!

Congratulation to the Varsity Football team for their win over Ponderosa 21-19!  Come out to support their last home game on Friday at 7pm.

Come out to support Varsity Boys soccer play in the 2nd round of State playoffs tomorrow night! We will host Durango at 5pm in the stadium.  A reminder because this is a playoff game, no passes will be accepted.  Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for general admission.  GO LIONS!

Special Events:

Remember when you would carve pumpkins with your family?  Well, you can relive those memories here at LHS!  Student Council is sponsoring a Pumpkin Carving Contest after school in the cafeteria on Tuesday Oct. 28th!  There will be different categories--most scary, most LHS spirit and most creative--with prizes for the winning pumpkins!  Your pumpkins will also be on display in the lobby--so come one and come all to have some Halloween fun!

Students please remember on Halloween at school and at the football game you are not allowed to have full face masks or face paint.  We need to be able to identify who you are.  Weapons cannot be part of your costume even if they are artificial.
