Your Lion Ultimate teams have played games in hot and cold weather recently! Congratulations on their 12-6 win against Jeff-Co Open School and their 13-5 victory over Colorado Academy.

Special Events:

Happening TODAY at LHS
Pumpkin Carving Contest – after school in the cafeteria
State Boys Soccer – 5pm at the Stadium
Fall Choral Concert – 7pm in the South Gym

It’s that time of year again, time to get out your ghost and goblin costumes and dress up for student council's Costume Contest this Friday-Halloween!  Dress in your most creative, creepy, scary or group costume, head to the cafeteria and get you picture taken on Friday and you may win a prize! Remember, though, no full face masks and keep the rest of the costume code of conduct appropriate! See you Friday!

Please remember the same Halloween costumes school rules apply at the football game.  You are not allowed to have full face masks or face paint.  We need to be able to identify who you are.  Weapons cannot be part of your costume even if they are artificial.

Students, have you noticed the veterans who carry the flags out on the 50-yard line for the National Anthem at home football games?  They are members of the American Legion, and each year, this organization sponsors an oratory contest. Winners from each state event go to nationals, where the first prize winner last year won an $18,000 scholarship.  If you are interested in participating in this contest, please go to their website, www.legion.org/oratorical.  The Colorado competition will be held this January, right here in Littleton, at Arapahoe Community College.

Have you completed Introduction to Computer Science and are looking for the next programming class that we have to offer? We are excited to offer Computer Science II starting in January.  The course will be taught by Ms. Montoya and is open to any student who has completed the Intro course. If you are interested in this class, please see your counselor at once so that we can enroll you and make any necessary schedule adjustments.
