Academic Announcements: 

Attention 9th graders:  There is still time to sign up if you would like to participate on the challenge course next week.  Please turn in your parent signature form and $3 by Friday, October 31.  This information can be turned in to Ms. Kailey in student services.  Students who sign up will receive a challenge course schedule on Monday, November 3.  Remember to sign up by this Friday.

Attention Juniors!  If you missed registration for the Practice ACT, go see your counselor ASAP so you can get registered to take this free exam next week!

Special Events:

This is the last chance for everyone to buy a HALLOWEEN O GRAM!  Student Council will be selling them until 3pm TODAY, then no more!  So, find a student council member or Ms Prestel and send your friends a Halloween O Gram!!

Student council's Costume Contest is Friday-Halloween!  Dress in your most creative, creepy, scary or group costume, head to the cafeteria and get you picture taken on Friday and you may win a prize! Remember, though, no full face masks and keep the rest of the costume code of conduct appropriate! See you Friday!

All LHS Students, come out and join the "Lion Pride" Marching Band this Friday on the field to dance the "Thriller Dance" by Michael Jackson.  Come after school at 3pm TODAY and Friday to learn the dance and be able to join the Band on the Field at the Football Game half-time show this Friday night.  See Mr. Emmons or a Band member for more details.

Club Announcements:

Attention all Officers, Ambassadors and General Council members, please make sure you get your Halloween O Gram envelopes to Ms Prestel by TODAY!  You can leave them on her desk in the Social Studies office or on her desk in room 209. Thanks!

ATTENTION all Student Council members who are participating in this year's Trick or Trunk Street, please make sure you are in the stadium parking lot by 3:15 TODAY at the very latest! Thanks!!

FCCLA is meeting TODAY in room 120, after school. We will be signing up for competitive events, so don't miss this meeting if you want to compete at "state".

FBLA members, we have a very important meeting TODAY at 2:20 pm in Room 124.  Competitive events will be reviewed and sign up for events will begin!

Attention all Technology Student Association members - we will meet on TODAY in the Tech room after school.

Key Club, if anyone still needs to turn in permission slips and forms to participate in the Trick or Treat for cans event this Friday, please put them in Ms. Anthamatten's box as soon as possible. Thank you.

All speech team members are reminded of our Friday meeting after school.  First tournament Saturday!  Be there.

Sports Announcements:

Your Lion Ultimate Gold team will be playing Collegiate Academy TODAY at 3:30 on the grass soccer field, so come out and support your team!

Football fans - the last home football game is tomorrow night at 7pm in the stadium.  Everyone should wear GOLD.  Put on your “Restore the Roar” t-shirt and show your Lion Pride!

The Boys Soccer State Quarterfinals is this Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 6:00 pm. The game is at Air Academy High School's Stadium (aka The K-Dome). Because the stadium is on the grounds of the Air Force Academy, a closed military installation, there are strict guidelines on attending games there. Please go to the Athletic Website (www.littletonlions.net) under "Athletic Headlines" for information on attending games at AAHS. Please read and adhere to the information and remember to allow extra time for the security checks at the gate.

If you are planning on wrestling this year there is a very important wrestling meeting Monday November 3rd at 2:20 in room 133W.

Lions Follies.  Are you looking for a way to share your talent?  Try out for the Lions Follies Talent Show.  Tryouts will be held on November 10th and 11th from 3:10 to 5:45, and you can sign up for a tryout time on the bulletin board in the art hallway.  You will have 3-5 minutes for your audition time, and we welcome all types of talent and skills, including MC tryouts.  The Lions Follies show will be on December 5th and 6th.  See Sam or Elisabeth Sanson, or Mr. Saliman for more details.

Blog Announcements:

Kick off Halloween Week with a trip to the Mausoleum Haunted House, just south of Belleview and Broadway. Bring your Littleton ID and the Mausoleum will make a donation to After Prom for everyone in your group! Free $3 discount tickets are available at Wendy’s. All family and friends of Littleton are welcome; just make sure you mention Littleton High School at the door. 152 Rafferty Gardens Avenue.

Hurry order your Holiday Wreath now before it's to late!  Cheerleaders are selling Holiday Wreaths until November 5th. Find a cheerleader or send an email to jbmgregory@q.com for more information.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

Attention Freshman, Sophomore, & Juniors – the swim test sign-up sheet is in the Counseling office.  Swim test dates are Wednesday, November 5th and Thursday, November 6th.  The classes are limited to the first 30 students per session.

Attention Seniors - a swim waiver test date is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11th right after school.   Seniors must sign up in the Counseling office.

Students – do you have a computer? If you do not have a computer at home, we have free computers for you. These are refurbished desktop computers, not laptops. They use the XP operating system and are loaded with Open Office; please see Mr. Hahn in the counseling office to receive a voucher for a free computer and/or more information.
