Today is an EVEN Day – Periods 2.4.6.8.

Veteran's Day Events:

Officer Tim Fisher, our School Resource Officer, will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance today. Officer Fisher was in the Marines from 1981 through 1985.  He spent 18 months in Barracks duty in the Philippines and also completed two tours overseas in what is called a West Pac tour, including South Korea, Okinawa, China, and the Philippines.  Officer Fisher received the overseas service commendation and the Navy achievement commendation.

Following the Pledge I ask teachers to open their classroom doors to hear the “Star Spangled Banner” played by members of the LHS marching band.
