Congratulations to Syrens who earned a Superior rating at the CHSAA Large Group Festival yesterday!

Way to go Lady Lion tennis players. They had a tremendous  week--after a very tough match, 3 - 4 against Regis on Wednesday, the girls came back yesterday to defeat Continental League rival Legend 5-2, and have evened up their record to 3 - 3 for the year.

Support your Senior Thespians on their final high school play.  Come see "Lend Me A Tenor", presented by the Senior Theatre Company of 2014.  The 2nd performance is tonight at 6pm, in the LHS Mane Stage Theatre.  Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults.  See you there!

TODAY GSA is facilitating participation in Day of Silence 2014. Day of Silence is a day where students voluntarily stay silent to raise awareness of the bullying and harassment faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.

Congratulations to your LHS Symphonic Concert Band for their exceptional performance at the CHSAA Large Group Band festival yesterday at Rock Canyon High School.  The Band received all Superior Ratings (the Highest possible rating) from all 4 Judges and was tied as the highest scoring Band at the Festival.

Congratulations to your girls' X Chromosomes Ultimate team on their 12-7 win over CIVA (see-vah) yesterday. Wish both the guys and girls luck in their tournament this weekend!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

FCCLA members competed at State last week along with 1,100 students from across the state of Colorado.  Please congratulate Kalie (Kay-lee) Xue (shu), for receiving a silver medal in Recycle Redesign.

Congrats to the Boys and Girls Track Teams who competed at the Littleton City Championships Track Meet over the weekend.  Boys finished in 3rd only a 1/2 point out of 2nd Place.

Congratulations to the Boys JV and Varsity Lacrosse teams for their victories against Prairie View this weekend.    Both teams take on Heritage on Wednesday.  Come out to support the teams!

Academic Announcements: 

Attention sophomores who are starting the IB Diploma Program next year: you have a MANDATORY meeting at 7 pm TONIGHT, to learn about the CAS requirements for IB. We will explain the Creativity, Action and Service program, and give you lots of ideas for projects. Your parents should come, too.  See you in the Forum at 7 pm this evening!

Any juniors who did NOT pre-bubble for the ACT last week, MUST attend the make-up session today at the beginning of 7th hour.  If you have a 7th period class, you should plan to go directly to the Forum, not the classroom, where attendance will be taken.  If you do not have a 7th period class, you must still be in the Forum at the start of 7th period.  This will take the entire class period.  Thank you!

Today at 9:30, a representative from Texas Christian University will be in the Post Grad Center, followed by a rep from Elon University - one of the 40 colleges that change lives - at 10.

On Tuesday, a representative from the University of California San Diego will meet with students at 1:30 in the Post Grad Center. Sign up in Post Grad to attend.
