STUDENT BULLETIN

Congratulations and GO LIONS!:

Congratulations to the Boys Soccer C Team for their exciting 3-0 win over Heritage. Kevin Gutierrez had the shut out in goal and Alex Perez and Rodrigo Marin scored the goals. Great Team Work!

Special Event:

Trying to make the world a better place will happen on Friday, October 9th!  The Peer Counselors made “I care” cards that they will begin to pass out tomorrow morning.  If you want to pick up your own cards and pass them out please feel free to pick up blank cards in the counseling office, attendance office or the library.   This is just another way to tell someone you care!

On October 16th, the Littleton High School Lions will take on Kennedy High School on the field, and a very important cause off the field – the fight against breast cancer! Join us in supporting the American Cancer Society as part of the NFL’s A Crucial Catch campaign. The players, coaches, and fans can all get involved – we hope to see you there!

The Stride is Sunday, October 25th! Register online at www.RunTheStride.com and please be sure to put LHS in the "I support" section!  This is a fantastic school community event!!

Academic Announcements:

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  It's College Week!  Many college reps are visiting LHS!  The complete list of visiting colleges can be found on your Naviance homepage, on the printed list on the bulletin board outside the Post Grad Center, or on the bulletin board near the cafe.  Please sign up for these visits on Naviance.  If you need a pass from class, please stop by Post Grad before the meeting.

For students needing help in Math & Science, Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here TONIGHT from 6:00-7:30pm in room 1740.  Please use the forum entrance.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors: Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for the PSAT test!  Sign up in the counseling office and bring $20 (non-refundable). The PSAT test date is Wednesday, October 14th at 7:30am in the South Gym.

Club Announcements:

Key Club will meet in room 2620 at 2:16 TODAY.

Political Committee will be in the Senior Hallway during A & B lunch for the next three Fridays to encourage you to register to vote!  You will need your Drivers License and Social Security card.  The process is quick!  It’s a privilege and your right to vote!!

Hello LHS Parents! Enjoy a night off from cooking dinner on Tuesday October 13!  Enjoy a delicious meal at Chipotle Restaurant across from LHS to keep your hunger at bay during Parent/Teacher conferences. Chipotle is generously donating proceeds of each meal to LHS PTO After-Prom, so please make sure you tell them you are from Littleton. Thanks in advance for your support! LHS PTO

Regional College Fair at LHS!  On Tuesday, October 20, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, LHS will host more than 40 colleges from Colorado and the surrounding area.  Meet with college representatives and receive information about academic programs, campus life, scholarships, financial aid opportunities, and much more!

Students – do you have a computer? If you do not have a computer at home, we have free computers for you. These are refurbished desktop computers, not laptops. They use the XP operating system and are loaded with Open Office; please see Mr. Hahn in the counseling office to receive a voucher for a free computer and/or more information.
