Sports Announcements and GO LIONS!

Come support your Lady Lion Volleyball Teams TONIGHT as they host the Green Mountain Rams! The varsity girls will recognize their favorite teacher prior to the varsity match at 6:30 for Teacher Recognition Night!  Show you Purple & Gold and we will see you there!!!

Wrestlers – You have Wrestling meeting on Wednesday after school to meet Coach Leigh Miller and find out about the season.  All athletes interested should attend.

Picture re-takes are TODAY in the Library from 8:30am - 1:30pm. Students may stop by the Library during an off period or lunch to have a picture taken. Order forms may be picked up in the main office or you can order online at mylifetouch.com, picture day ID: CG015030Y2

The month of October is designated as Colorado Safe Schools Month. Littleton
High School supports a safe and positive school environment. Student safety is everyone’s job. Safe schools contribute to the academic achievement of our students and we strive to make Littleton a positive and caring place for all. Academic Announcements:

Attention Sophomores and Juniors: Last day to sign up for PSAT test is Friday!  The PSAT test date is Wednesday, October 14th at 7:30am in the South Gym. Sign up in the counseling office and bring $20 (non-refundable).

Students – do you have a computer? If you do not have a computer at home, we have free computers for you. These are refurbished desktop computers, not laptops. They use the XP operating system and are loaded with Open Office; please see Mr. Hahn in the counseling office to receive a voucher for a free computer and/or more information.

Club Announcements:

National Honor Society applicants: The induction ceremony is Thursday in the forum from 6:00-7:00 pm.  Please feel free to invite your family to this special ceremony honoring your accomplishments.  If you cannot attend you will be inducted in absentia.

Political Committee will be in the Senior Hallway during A & B lunch for the next three Fridays to encourage you to register to vote!  You will need your Drivers License and Social Security card.  The process is quick!  It’s a privilege and your right to vote!!

Blog Announcements:

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  This week is College Week!  Representatives from nearly 50 colleges will be visiting LHS throughout the week.  The complete list can be found on your Naviance homepage, on the printed list on the bulletin board outside the Post Grad Center, or on the bulletin board near the cafe.  Please sign up for these visits on Naviance.  If you need a pass from class, please stop by Post Grad before the meeting.

Hello LHS Parents! Enjoy a night off from cooking dinner on Tuesday October 13!  Enjoy a delicious meal at Chipotle Restaurant across from LHS to keep your hunger at bay during Parent/Teacher conferences. Chipotle is generously donating proceeds of each meal to LHS PTO After-Prom, so please make sure you tell them you are from Littleton. Thanks in advance for your support! LHS PTO

Regional College Fair at LHS!  On Tuesday, October 20, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, LHS will host more than 40 colleges from Colorado and the surrounding area.  Meet with college representatives and receive information about academic programs, campus life, scholarships, financial aid opportunities, and much more!

The Stride is Sunday, October 25th! Register online at www.RunTheStride.com and please be sure to put LHS in the "I support" section!  This is a fantastic school community event!!
