STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

Congratulations to Unified Basketball for their awesome showing at the Tri-City tournament. The Lions played stiff competition in Heritage and Arapahoe and came out on top. Ruben Valdivia led the way with 10 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Scott Bourg tallied 14 points and five rebounds. Seniors Mary Martinez and Alex Vizurraga combined for eight points. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported your City Champs!

ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

9th, 10th & 11th graders  -
This is a reminder for you that counselors will be available in the Forum today and tomorrow during both A & B lunches to assist you with the course registration process.  If you have any questions. please be sure to attend one session during your lunch.  The window for course registration will close on Friday.  Be sure to turn in your card to the Counseling Office after you have completed the process.

Attention Juniors and Seniors.  An admissions rep from Colorado Mountain College, which has 11 different campuses across the state, will be here this Friday at 10:15. Come learn more about this interesting in-state school!

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Join us in the forum today after school today, from 2:30-3:30 for an inspirational talk on being “Uncommon.” Sue Thompson, mother of legendary LHS alumnus Brooks Thompson, will share a message about being “Uncommon” when challenges come at you in this world.  She will inspire you to take ownership of your life and to celebrate each moment with passion and laughter.  See Mr. Enzminger if you have questions.

POLITICAL COMMITTEE - meeting after school today in room 2608.  We will discuss/decide about Voter Registration Drive.

Key Club will meet after school today in room 2620.  If you signed up to bring items for Kits for Kids, please bring those items with you to the meeting.  If you cannot attend the meeting, please place the promised items in Ms. Anthamatten's or Ms. Fisher's mailbox by 2.15 p.m. on Thursday.

Attention current NHS members! We will be meeting in the forum briefly after school on Wednesday, Feb. 28 to take our yearbook photo. See you then!

Attention Seniors!  Please take a moment to check out your senior photo in the senior hallway by the cafeteria.  This is your FINAL chance to let us know if anything is wrong before they go to print. Please contact Mrs. Fisher right away if you see a problem.

Seniors, Jostens will be here, Tuesday, February 27, 2018, in the senior hall, from 10:30  to 12:30 to deliver announcements and mug orders.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

All practices for Girls Tennis are canceled this week due to the weather.

Girls' and boys' ultimate teams will meet in Coach Chen's room 1311 at 2:30 today to turn in fees and forms and then practice until 4:30. Please bring both indoor and outdoor workout clothing.

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Littleton High School Performing Arts is proud to present Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Performances are March 1st-3rd in the Littleton Main Stage Theatre. Thursday & Friday shows are at 7pm and Saturday will have two shows at 1pm & 6pm. Tickets are general admission and are $12 adults/$8 for students. They can be purchased online at lhsperformingarts.net. Get your tickets early as this show is sure to sell out!
