STUDENT BULLETIN:

Attention, Juniors and Seniors! Admissions reps from The University of Washington, Reed, Simpson College, the University of New Hampshire at Durham, Scripps College, Villanova, Furman, George Washington University, Stonehill College, Gonzaga University, Linfield, the University of California at San Diego, Montana State, Clarkson and High Point University will be here to visit with students today. Please sign up to attend on your Naviance account. And stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass from class.

If you are 16,17, or 18, listen up! The Colorado Democracy Challenge - a nonpartisan voter registration drive - is coming to our school to register and pre-register students to vote on Monday, October 8th, and Tuesday, October 9th! You can pre-register if you are 16 or 17. This way you will be set and ready to vote when you turn 18. If you are 18, you can register to vote. Be sure to bring an ID issued by the state of Colorado or the last 4 digits of your social security number. Also, know the county in which you live. Registration will take about 10 minutes and will be done in the front lobby both days.

Current 11th & 12th grade students that would like to take classes at Arapahoe Community College in the spring need to attend the Concurrent Enrollment Meeting on Thursday, October 11th, at 3:35 pm, in Room 1610. Please see your counselor with any questions before the meeting.

Students and staff: Littleton High School is hosting a blood drive on Thursday & Friday, Oct. 11th & 12th, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. This event is open to students, parents, and staff; just one donation can save three lives. Please consider donating. See Mr. Hahn in the counseling office for more information or to sign up.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Lion Ultimate Frisbee lost their game to East 6-9. Cheers to Cassie Banuelos who had a saucy snag and Logan Ralph who had numerous interceptions. The team will take on Creek next week.

The Model United Nations Club will meet in Room 2609 on next Tuesday morning, the 9th, between 7:45 and 8:15 am. All interested students are welcome!

Please join Leo Club this Tuesday morning, the 9th, at 7:50 am, in room 2605. We will be planning fun volunteer opportunities for our club. All students are welcome and encouraged to attend.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The boys tennis team competed at the regional tournament yesterday. #1 and #2 singles each took 4th place. The #2 and #4 doubles teams took 2nd place while the #3 doubles team took 1st place. The #2, #3, and #4 doubles teams will compete at the state tournament beginning next Thursday. Good luck, Lions!

For individuals interested in Wrestling as an athlete, manager, social media guru, or team DJ - there is an informational meeting Monday, October 8th, at 6:30 pm, in the Wrestling Room. Attendance with a parent is strongly encouraged.

Attention, Lady LionFish Swimmers and Divers, and any potential Lady LionFish: There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 10th, at 4:00 pm, in the pool area.

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The next PTO meeting is Tuesday, October 16th, at 9:00 am, in the main office conference room. The Co-Presidents, Emily & Laura, plus Principal, Dr. Oaks, will be at the meeting to share info with all parents/guardians/community members. We hope you can join us!

The Stride is on Sunday, October 28th. Please be sure to put Littleton High School in the "I support" section! This is a fantastic school community event! Bring your friends and family, and come and Stride with us!
