Attention, Seniors! Today’s the day for the College Essay Writing workshop during both lunch periods in The Forum. Our esteemed Mr. Stedron is here to help students with a straightforward method to essay writing. Thank you, Mr. Stedron!

Attention, Juniors and Seniors! Admissions reps from Hamline University, University of Puget Sound, St Olaf College, Fort Hays State, St. Michael's, St. Lawrence, Butler University, Juniata College, Washington University of St. Louis, Goucher, St Mar's of Maryland, and the University of San Francisco will be here to visit with students today. Buena Vista University, Eckerd, and Southwestern University reps will be here tomorrow. Please sign up to attend on your Naviance account. And stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass from class.

Attention, Seniors! Bettinger Photography will be here all day on October 4th to take free senior photos for the yearbook. If you received an appointment slip, please come to the main lobby at your appointment time, but even if you don't have an appointment, please feel free to come get a professional photo taken. Every senior is welcome! See Mrs. Fisher with any questions.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention, new Speech and Debate members: If you are planning to do interpretation events, please see Coach Jones in the Speech Room after school today to set up practice times.

Sources of Strength Peer Leaders: We will meet on Thursday, October 4th, at 7:45 am, in Ms. Rapp's room, room 1219. If you can't make it, please stop by and check in with Ms. Smith in the main office.

Political Committee: All students are invited to join the 7:45 am, Friday, October 5th, morning meeting where we will discuss hosting a Voter Registration Drive here at LHS and other local issues. Meet in Sutterer's room, 2608.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Students, Tonight is Teacher Appreciation Night at Girls Volleyball! Ask your teachers to join you in cheering our girls volleyball teams to victory versus D'Evelyn! The games are at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 pm. See you there!

Congratulations to the Boys Level 3 team on their 10-1 victory over Chaparral. Max Pitts had 11 saves in goal, and the Lions offense was lead with two goals each by Kalven Bubelis and John Lieb, with additional goals added by Zeke Layne, Bryan Chairez, Tony Fahn, Chase Shepard, Matthew Brousseau, and Josh Miller. Come support the team tomorrow, Wednesday, when they take on Thunder Ridge at home at 4:30 pm.

Your Girls Gymnastics Team will be back in the gym on Wednesday night at Overland! Competition begins at 6:00 pm. Good luck, Girls!

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We need help with the October 11th Student Recognition Breakfast. Please click here to sign up if you’re able to assist. Littleton High School regularly recognizes the special efforts of a number of students, and the students’ friends and family members are invited to attend. October 11th will be the first breakfast of the school year, from 7:30 - 8:30 am.

Current 11th & 12th grade students that would like to take classes at Arapahoe Community College in the spring need to attend the Concurrent Enrollment Meeting on Thursday, October 11th, at 3:35 pm, in Room 1610. Please see your counselor with any questions before the meeting.

The Stride is on Sunday, October 28th. Please be sure to put Littleton High School in the "I support" section! This is a fantastic school community event! Bring your friends and family, and come and Stride with us!
