Attention, Juniors and Seniors! Admissions reps from Buena Vista University, Eckerd, and Southwestern University will be here to visit with students today. Oberlin, Pacific Lutheran, Williams College, Kenyon, Suffolk University, Westminster College and Central College, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Tulane, Boston College, Illinois Institute of Technology, Pacific University, Carlton College, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Franklin University of Switzerland, and Western Washington University reps will be here tomorrow. Please sign up to attend on your Naviance account. And stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass from class.

Attention, Seniors! Bettinger Photography will be here all day tomorrow the 4th to take free senior photos for the yearbook. If you received an appointment slip, please come to the main lobby at your appointment time, but even if you don't have an appointment, please feel free to come get a professional photo taken. Every senior is welcome! See Mrs. Fisher with any questions.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Sources of Strength will meet tomorrow, Thursday, at 7:45 am, in Ms. Rapp's room, 1219. If you can't make it, please stop by and check in with Ms. Smith in the main office. Everyone is welcome!

FBLA is having a meeting tomorrow, the 4th, room 1975, at 7:50 am. Hope to see you there!

Political Committee: All students are invited to join the 7:45 am, Friday, October 5th, morning meeting where we will discuss hosting a Voter Registration Drive here at LHS and other local issues. Meet in Sutterer's room, 2608.

Attention, Speech and Debate members: We have a team meeting this Friday the 5th in the speech room (which is next door to the forum) after school from 3:40-4:10 pm. Please bring your signed team contracts. See you Friday!

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Thank you to all of the teachers and staff who attended the Lady Lion Volleyball games last night. Congratulations to Mr. Brooks, who won a $20 Starbucks gift card for attending! Thank you, Mr. Brooks, for showing your school spirit!

The JV soccer team cruised to an 8 to 0 victory yesterday over Wheat Ridge. Townes Uhl and Owen Balbin led the scoring with two goals each. Also scoring goals were Will, Max, John, and Howie. Aidan Papi had the shutout. Good luck to Varsity soccer tonight as they play Wheat Ridge at 6:00 pm in the stadium.

Your Girls Gymnastics Team will be back in the gym tonight at Overland! Competition begins at 6:00 pm. Good luck, Girls!

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:

For individuals interested in Wrestling as an athlete, manager, social media guru, or team DJ - there is an informational meeting Monday, October 8th, at 6:30 pm, in the Wrestling Room. Attendance with a parent is strongly encouraged.

If you are 16,17, or 18, listen up! The Colorado Democracy Challenge - a nonpartisan voter registration drive - is coming to our school to register and pre-register students to vote on Monday, October 8th, and Tuesday, October 9th! You can pre-register if you are 16 or 17. This way you will be set and ready to vote when you turn 18. If you are 18, you can register to vote. Be sure to bring an ID issued by the state of Colorado or the last 4 digits of your social security number. Also, know the county in which you live. Registration will take about 10 minutes and will be done in the front lobby both days.

Attention, Lady LionFish Swimmers and Divers, and any potential Lady LionFish: There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 10th, at 4:00 pm, in the pool area.

We need help with the October 11th Student Recognition Breakfast. Please click here to sign up if you’re able to assist. Littleton High School regularly recognizes the special efforts of a number of students, and the students’ friends and family members are invited to attend. October 11th will be the first breakfast of the school year, from 7:30 - 8:30 am.

Current 11th & 12th grade students that would like to take classes at Arapahoe Community College in the spring need to attend the Concurrent Enrollment Meeting on Thursday, October 11th, at 3:35 pm, in Room 1610. Please see your counselor with any questions before the meeting.

Students and staff: Littleton High School is hosting a blood drive on Thursday & Friday, Oct. 11th & 12th, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. This event is open to students, parents, and staff; just one donation can save three lives. Please consider donating. See Mr. Hahn in the counseling office for more information or to sign up.

The Stride is on Sunday, October 28th. Please be sure to put Littleton High School in the "I support" section! This is a fantastic school community event! Bring your friends and family, and come and Stride with us!
