SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:


The Spirit Committee wants you to come out and support Girls Basketball tonight, it’s CLUB APPRECIATION NIGHT!!


Cheer on the Varsity Boys Basketball team on Saturday at 2:30pm., for the last home game of the season.   We will be celebrating our six graduating seniors at half time. 

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:


The  Winter Dance is Saturday, from 8-11pm. Buy your  tickets in the cafeteria during lunches today.  Tickets are $8.00. 


It's February and that means Val-O-Grams!!  Find a Student Council member and send a gram to a friend, or a someone you have a crush on or to your special squeeze!  They are only $1 and include a flower with your Gram, to be delivered on Valentine's Day Wed. Feb. 14th!  All proceeds go towards our LHS PROM!

Littleton High School Performing Arts is proud to present Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Performances are March 1st-3rd in the Littleton Main Stage Theatre. Thursday & Friday shows are at 7pm and Saturday will have two shows at 1pm & 6pm. Tickets are general admission and are $12 adults/$8 for students. They can be purchased online at lhsperformingarts.net. Get your tickets early as this show is sure to sell out!


Registration for the 2018-2019 school year will be in the Forum during A or B lunch on the following dates:
Current 10th graders for junior year                 February 8th & 9th
Current 11th graders for senior year                February 12th & 13th

Admissions representatives from the following colleges will be visiting LHS to speak with students this week! Today - University of Northern Colorado; Friday - CU Denver.  Please sign up on your Naviance account, and stop by Post Grad for a pass.

LHS Lion Ultimate needs girls! Come to art room 1215 today after school to "Get to Know Girls' Ultimate". Wear comfortable clothing as we will stretch and throw as well as drink tea and chat. First practice for girls and boys is on February 20!

Key Club will meet today in room 2620 at 2.25.  Come learn about our Kits for Kids project providing medical supplies for families in developing countries.  All are welcome!

And all week long we are celebrating with spirit days in preparation for the dance and pep assembly. Today is twin day, and of course Friday wear your class shirt for the assembly.

STUDENT BULLETIN

STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

Congratulation to the following FBLA members who competed at the 2018 District Conference on February 6, 2018.  The Littleton High School FBLA chapter brought home a total of 20 awards and qualified 28 members to compete at the state conference in April.  Please see list of the 20 award winners posted on the Activity boards in the hallways.

Lions students and staff: Please join us in the athletic hall after school today at 2:30 pm to celebrate Katie Puchino’s commitment to play Women’s Soccer at UCCS. Katie is our fourth senior student-athlete to sign to play collegiate sports next year. Congratulations also to Zach Fox (Shawnee State/Tennis), Addie Iken (Wyoming/Cross Country and Track), and Rebekah Sandstrom (Regis/Basketball).

STUDENT BULLETIN

STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

Unified Basketball secured another victory last night over Columbine 87-71. Seniors Alex Vizurraga and Ruben Valdivia led the way with 16 points, and Mary Martinez scored eight. Junior Sammie Ostlee tallied seven points and three assists. Keep it up Lions!

Your #4 ranked LPS Hockey team had another big win on Saturday over Cheyenne Mountain with a score of 8-0. Come out to cheer the team on this Saturday when they play Aspen at 4:25 at Ice Ranch. The JV team will also play Aspen on Saturday at 12:20 at South Suburban.

STUDENT BULLETIN

STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

Congratulations to the entire girl's basketball program for their sweep of defending state champion Evergreen on Saturday!  Our varsity team beat the #2 team in the state 56-51 thanks to an incredible 4th quarter.  Sophomore Susie Puchino led the team with 17 points and perfect shooting on the day.  Junior Sydney Elder hit 3 huge shots in the 4th to also help kickstart the team's amazing run!  Great job Lions!!"

A huge congratulations goes out to our LHS speech and debate team as they competed at the First Annual Never Again Tournament held at Chatfield High School.  The team was lead by the sophomores, as Rebecca Zickerman was tournament champion in original oratory, and Maddie Engeman was also tournament champion in informative speaking.  Also performing well were Ally Procopio who placed 5th in informative, Julia Valdez who placed 3rd in poetry, and Ben Greenly and Grace Greenly placed 3rd in duo.  Great job, team!
