Club Announcements:
The Peace Jam Club will meet today in room 206 between 2:20 and 2:45. International Education Week Planning will be the focus of the October and November's meetings. All students and staff interested in helping to put on this event are welcome. Additionally, information on the Kenya Service and Study Trip will be available. We hope to see you there!
Did you know that last year, Americans discarded more than 300 million pairs of shoes? When these shoes break down in our landfills, the toxic glue that holds the shoes together can leak into our water supply and atmosphere. Instead of throwing your shoes in a landfill, please donate your "gently worn" footwear to people in need instead of throwing them away. Green Club will be collecting shoes from Mon, 10/18 - 10/29 in room 132E. One pair of shoes = one entry in a raffle for a prize!!
Sports Announcements:
Baseball player/parent meeting will be held tonight in the cafeteria at 7:00pm.
All boys interested in trying out for basketball come to a short signup meeting at 3pm on Wednesday, Oct. 20 in the team/ISS room across from the north gym.
Academic Announcements:
Sign-ups for the PLAN, practice ACT test, are available in the Counseling Office. Test date is Sat., Nov. 6, 7:30 am at LHS. Cost is $20; check made payable to LHS or cash. Space is limited!
Claremont McKenna College will visit tomorrow Wed October 20, 2010 in Post Grad.
For any junior or senior interested in PSEO, attending College part-time next semester – all applications are due October 25 by 3:00pm to Ms. Geyer. If you have any questions please go to the counseling office.

The clock is ticking! The Stride is coming up this Sunday, October 24. Get the word out- get friends, family and neighbors to sign up for The Stride and make sure Littleton is designated as the school being represented! On Thursday, October 21, 2101 Jostens will be here to take orders again. They will be in the senior hall from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If any seniors need a packet they can pick one up in the main office or at student services.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107. Please use the forum entrance.
