Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulation to JV boys lacrosse for the 6-5 victory over Golden yesterday. 3 goals were scored by Thatcher Bouck; additional goals were scored by Lumpy Senior, Joe Tim and Aaron Mountfort. Go LAX Lions!

Congratulations to the varsity and JV girls tennis teams yesterday on their wins over Castle View High School. Varsity won 4-3 and JV won 10-4. Good team effort on both wins.

Congratulations to the C-team baseball team for their win over Heritage yesterday! Way to go LIONS!!

Academic Announcements:

Attention Juniors: If you missed the initial ACT pre- bubbling session, you need to come to the Forum TODAY 3rd period at 9:01am, to do the pre-bubbling. You will NOT be allowed to take the ACT if you have not completed this activity. If there are any students who were unable to finish the original session, you are welcome to come to this session as well. If you have any questions, see Mrs. McCombs.

SENIORS! WANT TO SPEAK AT OUR GRADUATION CEREMONY? SIGN UP TO AUDITION TO BE A GRADUATION SPEAKER IN THE MAIN OFFICE. Please be prepared to give your speech on April 16 or 17 and show up to your audition time. Further details are in the main office where you sign up. GET WRITING AND PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!! Don't forget to sign up!

Club Announcements:

Do want to help the environment and your community? Join Green Club and Balance Monday April 16th from 2:30-3:30 at our first Tye-Dye Party. Bring a white cotton shirt and you can sign-up with Mrs. Rosenberg in Room 143 for $3. The money earned will fund for two trees to be planted on the LHS campus. Space is limited so don't wait until last minute to sign up.

FBLA members: Our meeting is tomorrow at 2:20 pm in room 124. ! See you then!

LOOSE CHANGE FOR UGANDA!! The Remember Campaign members and Student Council want you to bring in all your loose change and dollar bills to donate to our LOOSE CHANGE FOR UGANDA fundraiser. A small town in Agwata, Uganda recently built a school and now they need a water well nearby to supply the school and surrounding village with clean water that is not 8 miles away! So, Outreach Uganda, The Remember Campaign members and Student Council want your loose change!! We will be collecting from you during the all of the Remember presentations this week and next; then Student Council will match the amount of funds raised through the loose change collection! Our goal is $600! Help us out and bring in your loose change this week and next--THANKS!

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!!! TSA is teaching tech to all who want to sign up. On Wednesday, April 18th in the tech lab, it's for families, friends, neighbors - they are hosting 2 hours of learning a variety of different subjects for just $30. All you have to do is fill out a form, pay your money and come to class. There will be a form posted on the home page or email Mrs. Wilkins pwilkins@lps.k12.co.us and she will email you a registration form. Class is filling up so sign up soon. This is a fundraiser for TSA to attend Nationals, we appreciate your support.

Attention Boys Soccer Players. There will be an important meeting today at 2.30pm in room 133E for any boys wishing to play soccer next fall. See you there!

If you are thinking about wrestling next year open mat wrestling is starting in the new wrestling room on Thursday April 12th. The room will be open Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30- 4:00 and anyone is welcome. There will be a wrestling meeting today at 2:20 in room 133W.

Prepare yourself for one of the world's most popular shows – right here at Littleton High School…The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Where else can you see all of Shakespeare's plays in one place on one night? This is a parody of the plays written by William Shakespeare with all of them being performed (in shortened form) by only three actors. Come see the amazing dramatic talent that makes this event possible! April 19, 20 and 21, 2012.

Students: We have had many student ask if it is OK to wear masks at PROM. We understand the theme is 'MASQUERADE", however, in the interest of safety and security, masks will NOT be permitted.

Prom guest forms are available at Student Services and the Main office. Please return the completed form to Student Services by April 26, 2012.

Students still wanting to sign up to take an AP test this spring can do so until Noon on April 18. There is now a $50 additional cost per AP test, bringing the cost per test to $145. Students must first complete the AP survey on Naviance, print and bring a copy with a check or cash to the Counseling Office.
