Today is an 8 period day

Academic Announcements:

SOPHOMORES: Do you LOVE Littleton? Are you eager to share your school spirit? Do you remember what it was like to “shop” for high schools when you were in 8th grade? Then apply to be a LION CUB SHADOW HOST! Pick up an application in the counseling office and return it by Thursday, August 30. Questions: Mrs. Stulock in the IB department.

Students:  You may notice that you have an "Empty" period on your schedule.  This period is what Littleton High School refers to as an "academic period."  We encourage you to use this time to complete homework assignments, seek help from teachers or peer tutors in the counseling office and do preparatory work for upcoming classes. We further encourage you to use the library or cafeteria as study areas.

Club Announcements:

Our first HIP HOP meeting will take place Thursday, August 23 @ 2:30 p.m. in the Forum. All are welcome to attend and join us.  We will meet every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 in the forum.  Bring your ideas and enthusiasm to be a part of this great diverse club.

If you like to run, want to meet friends, and have fun...check out the LHS Ultimate frisbee team!  This school sponsored club sport welcomes both girls and guys. We will meet this Thursday at 2:30 down on the grass.

Attention all students--if you are interested in being in Student Council but did not want to be an Officer; we have just the thing for you!!  You can be an AMBASSADOR!!  This position is not quite as demanding as being an officer, but you still get to do all the great events and fun activities of Student Council!  If you are interested, pick up an Ambassador form in the main office and turn it in to Ms Prestel's mailbox or her desk in the Social Studies office.  Thanks!

It's here, the meeting you have been waiting to hear about! Technology  Student Association (TSA)  is having their first meeting of the year.  First we want to congratulate Will Banfield & Joe Maguire for placing in the top 10 in the Nation in Structural Engineering this past summer in Nashville, Tennessee!  Great job, they were competing against over 400 teams!  Chip Bollendonk also placed in the top 10 in extemporaneous speaking!  Now on to the meeting information, our first meeting is Thursday in the technology lab downstairs in room 150.  We will begin at 2:20 and be finished by 3pm.  Come check out the state champion club and see if it's a fit for you.  See Mrs. Wilkins with questions otherwise we will see you there.

LHS' Improv club will be starting back up this fall on Monday, 27 August after school. We will be welcoming LHS Improvables alumni Jeff Garland who will be teaching and playing improv games with students. See Genoa Martin if you need more information, the club will meet on stage.
