Today is an ODD Period Day – Periods 1.3.5.7

Academic Announcements: 

Two college representatives are visiting Littleton today to meet with Juniors and Seniors.  The rep from Arapahoe Community College will be in the Post Grad Center at 9 a.m., and Colorado Mesa University's rep will come to Post Grad at 1 p.m.

In addition, a representative from the University of Montana will be here tomorrow (Friday) at 11 a.m.

Practice ACT for 11th graders will distributed in Social Studies TODAY and tomorrow.

Attention Seniors! If you are applying to colleges, remember that you will need to make your transcript requests IMMEDIATELY!  If you have a deadline of November 15th, which is tomorrow or December 1st, you are already late! Keep in mind that our first day back to school following Thanksgiving break will be December 2nd.  Don't miss your deadlines!

After School Math Help - Come to room 121 TODAY from 2:15 - 4:00 pm.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here TONIGHT from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107. Please use the forum entrance.

Club Announcements: 

FBLA members we will have an important meeting TODAY, November 14th at 2:20pm in room 124.  We will be selecting competitive events for the district conference, learning how to prepare and updating members on an upcoming community service project.  Please plan to attend!

Key Clubbers!  Don't forget we have a meeting immediately after school today in room 211.  See you there!

Model UN will not meet today, but will meet next Thursday, November 21st. at 2:20 in Room 206

All speech and debate team members are reminded of our meeting this Friday. Those members interested in becoming Captains-- prepare your speech!

Students, FCA will be having their last meeting of this semester after school on Monday, the 18th..  We'll meet at 2:30 in Room 102.

Free tickets to The Wings Over the Rockies Museum. Come and see what an aeronautical career has to offer and how you can use your math and science skills for future jobs. We encourage you to check out this great museum.  Pick up your free passes in the Counseling Office and the Main Office

Other Announcements: 

Next week is International Education Week!  This event is promoted by the U.S. Department of Education and State in order to promote international learning and exchange. Festivities begin on Monday, November 18th featuring guest speakers, international films, study aboard, soccer, music & more.  The schedule for the week is posted outside the library and stay tuned to daily announcements to find out what is happening each day.

There will be a CO ED, 4 versus 4 soccer tournament from 3-5pm in the stadium on Wednesday, November 20, as part of International Week. Teams of 2 boys and 2 girls from any grade may participate. Register your team with coach Banfield before Friday, November 15.

LHS Performing Arts & Encore would like to thank everyone that attended the LHS Performing Arts Music & Craft Fair last Saturday in the LHS Cafeteria & South Gym.  It was a fun day and couldn't have happened
without all of the volunteers and shoppers.  We hope you were able to get some of your holiday shopping done by purchasing some unique gifts. Thanks, again, for your participation.

LHS book drive to support the schools in Lyons impacted by the recent Colorado floods is in progress. Please bring new or gently used books appropriate for students in grades K-12 to the attendance office, library or in your language arts classroom.  The drive will run through November 22nd.  Thank you for your support!
