Today is ODD Period Day – Periods 1.3.5.7

Academic Announcements: 

SOPHOMORES ON THE IB TRACK - You have a MANDATORY meeting TODAY, during A and B lunches in the Forum. All sophomores who have shown interest in IB must attend during their lunch period. We will hand out important information about what classes you'll take next year, as well as the IB commitment/exit form. Feel free to bring your lunch. Questions: See Ms. Anderson or Mrs. Stulock in the counseling department.

All current 9-11 grade LHS students are invited to attend the ACTS/Concurrent Enrollment Information Meeting TODAY at 2:30 pm in the Forum.  Concurrent Enrollment is a program that allows dual enrollment between LHS with Arapahoe Community College and Metro State University of Denver.  Please Mr. Puchino in Counseling for more information.

Lockheed Martin is here this evening in room 107 from 6-7:30pm for students needing help in Math or Science.

Math help is also available after school TODAY in room 121

Club Announcements: 

Key Club will meet in room 211 after school TODAY.  We will be making Valentine's cards to give to an old people's home.  Come along and bring your artistic talents!

Hey everyone, this is the VERY LAST day to buy a Val-O-Gram!!  So, find a Student Council member at lunch or during the day OR come up and see Ms. Prestel in the Social Studies office and get your Val-O-Gram for your special someone!

The DECA store is having a "Sweets for your Sweetie" sale this week for Valentines Day.  All candy is 25% off the regular price through Friday. Let that special someone know you care!

Special Events: 

The LHS Mane Stage presents "City of Angels" Feb 27 – March 1!  .  Ticket  prices are $7 for students, $10 for adults, and senior citizens are free.  Tickets are available for purchase at the LHS Box Office during lunch, or online at: www.seatyourself.biz/lhsperformingarts

ATTENTION SENIORS!  If you would like to speak at your graduation this year, be on the lookout for the speaker sign up form that will be on the Senior Bulletin board in the Language Arts Hallway starting on Tuesday Feb. 18th.  The sign-up sheet will be up for 3 weeks, so you have some time to think about this opportunity; but don’t wait too long or you will miss out!

RSVP now for our 3rd Annual FebruaryFest happening Friday, February 21st at Glenmoor Country Club.  It’s an evening for coaches and parents to socialize and celebrate.  Go LHS Athletics!

Princeton Review is offering an opportunity for sophomores and juniors to take a FREE, full-length, proctored ACT test at Rock Canyon High School on Saturday February 22nd.  Students will receive a free report breaking down their scores. This is an ideal way to prepare for the statewide ACT test which all Juniors are required to take here at school in April.  Check the Princeton Review website for details about registering for the test.  There are a limited number of seats available.

Writing Center is available tomorrow in the Library from 7:20-3:30
