Today is an ODD Period Day – Periods 1.3.5.7

Academic Announcements: 

Hey Freshmen ... are you a LEADER?!!  Do you want to make a different at LHS? If so, Student Council wants YOU to run for a Class Officer Position.  Student Council members will be coming into your Advisement classrooms today and tomorrow to tell you all about being an officer or an ambassador.  If you are interested just ask the Student Counsel Officer for a packet and start campaigning!! Take a chance--get involved!!

Club Announcements: 

Attention LHS students, the first meeting for the LHS Technology Student Association will be TODAY after school in room 150. If you are at all interested in engineering, technology, or design, make sure that you come down and attend this meeting. Anyone can join, even if you aren't a techie, you could compete in other non-technology events, such as fashion design and quiz bowl! Looking forward to seeing you there tomorrow after school down in the tech lab in room 150.

Attention all grade levels!  Student Council is having it's first General Council meeting of the year on Monday August 25th and EVERYONE is invited!!  If you have always wanted to join Student Council, now it your chance!  We will be meeting in the forum starting at 2:20 and we will have some treats for you too!  See you there!

The first meeting for the World, Green, Model UN, and Colorado Clubs will be in Room 206 on Wednesday, August 27th between 2:20 and 2:50pm.

Sports Announcements:

TODAY - Boys Tennis will play Stanley Lake High School away at 3:30PM and Freshman Football will play Golden High School away at 4PM.  Good luck to both of our teams!

TOMORROW, our Girls Volleyball will play their 1st home games against South High School.  Games start at 4:30pm in the LHS North Gym.

If you are interested in one of the toughest sports on campus come and check out wrestling.  Fall open mat wrestling starts Tuesday August 26th and runs every Tuesday from 2:45-4:00 until the wrestling season starts in November.  See coach Burton if you are interested in being on the team.

Save the Date - LHS Back to School Night is Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 6:00pm

Upperclassman - Parking Passes are available the Bookkeeper’s office.  $50 for the entire year!  You will need your Driver’s license, proof of insurance and registration.

LPS Code of Conduct booklet can be found online on the Littleton Public School web site www.littletonpublicschools.net.  All students should review the dress code which will be strictly enforced.
