Student Recognition and Congratulations:

Congratulations to all Lady Lionfish on a great night of swimming and diving.  Varsity came away with a close 1 point win over Golden, and JV handily won by 29 points.  There was a lot of great swim and dives had by all.  Special congratulations go out to:
Lydia VanKooten State Qualifier in the 100 Breast Marina Cannon State Qualifier in Diving Sarah Fantle, Emily Sanders, Reganne Fornstrom, and Lydia VanKooten State Qualifier 200 Free Relay And to some swimmers that dropped a lot of time in their events-Rose Kelly, Sienna Woo, Sammie Ostlee, Amelia Sacco, Kait Schultz, Ciarra Viar, Natalie Ware, Mady Stouder, Emma Haynes, Makayla Franklin - just to name a few keep up the great work Lady Lionfish!

IMPORTANT SECOND SEMESTER CHANGES!!!

NEW STUDENT DROP OFF LOCATION
Starting second semester the student drop off location will be moved to the athletic entrance in the stadium parking lot. The athletic doors will be open from 6:50am-7:20am. We are hoping this will improve the morning traffic flow into our school.Again, starting second semester the student drop off location will be moved to the athletic entrance in the stadium parking lot. NEW GATE - PREVENTING THROUGH TRAFFIC IN STADIUM PARKING LOT
Starting second semester the District will put back the gate by the tennis courts to prevent through traffic. This has become a safety concern. We are working with the district to provide signage and other forms of communication.

Attention Seniors:  All senior photos are posted in the senior hallway.  This is your last chance to see them before they go to print.  Please stop by the senior hallway and check out your photo.  If you have any concerns, please contact Mrs. Fisher asap!

There are still a few Snowflakes on the Giving Snowman...please head down to the business hallway and take a snowflake...it is very fun to go shopping for these kids at Musana, and it really gets you in the holiday spirit!  Thanks a ton!

The Coats for Veterans are NOW out and ready to be filled...Student Council and NHS have teamed up to do this coat drive, so dig out your gently used coats of any size and bring them to the library, attendance office or cafeteria and put them in the bins to benefit Veterans and their families!

Time to get into the Holiday Spirit!!  Student Council is sponsoring a spirit dress up week next week for us get rid of any winter blues and to get ready for finals!  Today is Santa Hat and Festive Socks Day, Thursday is Winter Pajama Day and Friday is the ever popular Ugly Christmas/Holiday Sweater Day!!  We will have a competition on Friday, so head up to Ms. Prestel's room (2618) during A and B lunches and get your picture taken and you might win a cool prize!

Looking for something fun to do over the Holiday break? Check out the Family Sports center on January 5th from 2 to 8 PM. Just mention you are with Littleton High School and you’ll receive $1 off your admission.

Academics:

Tonight and Thursday will be the last two evenings to take advantage of FREE Lockheed Martin tutoring before finals.  Students who need help in Math or Science can come to room 1740 anytime between 6:00 - 7:30pm and you will use the Forum entrance.

Sports:

There is a Unified sports game before the girl's basketball game on Thursday at Thomas Jefferson High School

Clubs and Activities:

The Art club will be sponsoring a Finals Detox Next Tuesday the 20th From 11:20 to 2:30 in room 1218. Come make Christmas ornaments, snowflakes, and more. They will be showing a movie for you while you doodle and make art with your friends! Everyone is invited so please bring whoever you would like. Food will be provided.

FCCLA/Culinary Club will be having a Winter Break Party this Thursday (12/15) in room 1972.  Join us after school for fun, games and fantastic food!

Attention Students you are all invited to come play games and win prizes at the Probability Carnival during 7th period this Thursday in the cafeteria. This annual event is sponsored by Mr Chandler's Probability and Statistics class. There will be 10 different games with candy prizes for all that participate.See You There !

Stressed about finals? Come relax at the next after-school movie day! Come watch Finding Dory on Wednesday, December 14 in the forum with the GSA! You can buy tickets for $1 in room 1602 during A or B lunch, or for $2 at the door.

Blog Announcements:

 Just a reminder that National Honor Society students are providing free one-on-one tutoring in the counseling office nearly every day and every period.  If you need help preparing for finals or help with any of your school work please stop by the counseling office anytime before December 16th to take advantage of this great resource.

Trancripts!  Attention Seniors applying to college!  Remember that your transcript needs to be ordered 10 school days before your college deadline!  This means that if your college application deadline is January 1st or 15th, you need to have requested and paid for your transcript before the break!  We want all of your materials to arrive at your colleges on time, so take note of these popular application deadlines and your LHS deadlines:
