STUDENT BULLETIN
The Concurrent Enrollment meeting for students who want to attend classes at ACC during 2nd semester will be on Wednesday, October 30th, right after school in room 1610. Any questions, see Mr. Puchino.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
MOCK TRIAL -will meet after school today in room 2608. This week we will learn about attorneys' rules of evidence. We will meet each Monday after school until February when we compete in a regional competition. All students are welcome to join.

LHS's Gay-Straight Alliance (also known as GSA) will have it's the first meeting of the year this Friday at 7:45 am in the Forum. Come join us for conversation, planning, and treats. All are welcome!

Attention students! Do you want to know what's going on in our district from the people in charge? How about learning what our School Board feels is important for Littleton schools? If so, sign up to become a DAC or District Accountability Committee, member. DAC meets once a month on the 3rd Wed at the District building from 7-9 pm. If you are interested, leave your name with Mrs. Atencio in the main office.

Join us for the first Movie and Game Night on Friday, October 25th, after school! Play games, eat pizza, and hang out with your friends before the football game! 3:45 pm to 5:30 pm in the cafeteria! Make sure you RSVP with the QR Code on the posters, so we have enough pizza for everyone. Sponsored by Sources of Strength.

Key Club will meet this Thursday in room 2620 at 7:50 am. We will be assembling kits for kids. Please go to the Key Club website and sign up to bring basic first aid supplies for the project.

The Littleton High School Mane Stage Theatre will be presenting the play Geek! By Crystal Skillman Thursday-Saturday, October 24-26. Thursday show is at 6:00 pm, Friday show is at 7:00 pm and Saturday will have shows at 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Tickets are general admission - $6 for students and $8 for adults. Tickets will be sold during both lunches beginning Monday, October 21st. Please support the LHS Performing Arts by coming to this hilarious and heartwarming production.

Did you know that just one blood donation can save up to 3 lives? Our LHS National Honor Society is sponsoring a blood drive on 2 upcoming dates here in the Forum on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, November 8. Anyone ages 16 or over can donate. For more information or to sign up for a time slot: see Ms. Adams-Berger or Mr. Puchino in the Counseling office. This is an amazing way to give back to those in need.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Big congratulations to the boys cross country team! After placing fourth in the 4A Region 2 Cross Country Meet last Thursday, the boy's team is headed back to State this coming Saturday in Colorado Springs. Evan Moore led the way for the Lions placing 13th overall. Cooper Brown was in the top 20. Uziel Garcia, Donny Marshall, Grady Redding, Blake Anderson, Hans Romine, Sawyer Gannon and Liam Brack rounded out the Regional team. Way to go, guys!

What a great season the Littleton girls cross country team had! They ran with a ton of heart at the 4A Region 2 Cross Country Meet last week but placed sixth and falling a little short of making it to the State Meet. Hailey Lockhart, McAllister Stewart, Kenzie Pullar, Morgan Kelly, Sydney Sheldon, Rylee Berger, Georgia Reed, Olivia Landers and Sophia Sheldon raced for the Lions. Ours is a young team packed with talent. We’ll get them next year, ladies!

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Once again, the online application for the highly competitive and prestigious Boettcher Scholarship is now open, with an 11:59 pm November 1st deadline. If you're interested in finding out more, go to BoettcherFoundationOnline.org. Please read the information at that link very carefully. There is an abundance of information about the steps required as well as tips on how to make your application stronger. The application process is somewhat lengthy, and the requirements are quite specific. Don't delay in beginning the process. Please stop by Post Grad and speak to Ms. Reimers if you have questions. Also, please email Ms. Reimers if you plan to apply for the Boettcher.
