CONGRATULATIONS:
The Optimist Club of Littleton held their annual essay contest. This year, they judged 43 essays from students across the Littleton area. Two of the top three essayists are LPS students: Catherine May (1st Place, Littleton High School) and Alice Macdonald (3rd Place, Franklin Elementary School.) Catherine’s essay has been forwarded to the Colorado-Wyoming District level to compete for a $2500 college scholarship. Both Catherine and Alice had inspiring essays and represented LPS in the most positive light. Congratulations!

Blizzards, pandemics, virtual tournaments? Nothing can stop us! Last Friday and Saturday, 12 members of our speech and debate team competed at the CHSAA state tournament, and they brought home some hardware to show for it.
Elianajoy Volin placed 4th in Poetry
Bella Houck placed 6th in Drama
KC Lynch and Grace Amine placed 9th in Duo
Congratulations to all, now onto national qualifiers!
